RPG Characters FREE

This app started off really great! My husband made a template and we used the template to create our characters. 2 weeks later, our characters just disappeared from the app. The default characters that came with the app were still there, but nothing we created was. Luckily, we were still able to find the files in our phones and use a .json file editor to extract the info, but trying to figure out what each field meant took awhile. I think we'll all be going back to old fashioned paper character sheets from now on.

It took a little while to figure it out, but once I did, I really liked it. I even made a template and sent it to my players do they make their characters in the app. And it worked well...until one day all our stuff was gone. The characters and the template. I assume there was an update, and the update made the template I had made not be recognised by the app. The file is still there in the proper folder, the app just doesn't seem to see it. This has been very frustrating, and very troublesome, especially since all my players are new to RPG, and I spent a lot of time helping them create their characters. So I would just warn people not to rely on the app.

Extremely helpful tool for creating PCs or NPCs, with any configuration of stats and attributes. Easy-to-use template making, that could be used for imaginably any rpg

It is very convenient and adaptable for personalized use. You can easily keep track of multiple characters for diffrent RPs

It's a great app if you like making everything from scratch, just have patience.

I'd like to use a calculated field to calculate a field. :)

Why can't I calculate two fields from different pages, it says "Invalid double: "f46 + f5" It bugs me a lot, I don't want to merge equips page with combat stats page because they're huge and it would take an entire day of time.

Just love it! This is the first app I've found that allows you to make your own templates and isn't a mess. Great job!

Great app. Though if anyone can help me. How do I send a template to someone so they can use it?

Awkward as hell to use and doesn't explain things very well not just about the actual app in its self but also on the classes stats (... Just to name a few)

The only ways I can see this getting better is if we could add folders for our Characters/Templates, in order to organize everything better. (: Could also do with a tweak to the variable bar, I'd like to type a number rather than move the bar when the numbers get higher. Other than that, a great app! The best one I've found, and I thought I'd run out of options! XD This app has made RPG making easier by at least tenfold! Edit: I stand by my previous statement, and upon further tweaking and messing around with this app, I have a few more suggestions. For one, I'd love to see more icons, specifically sci-fi ones, to help make this app a use-for-all type of thing. Another suggestion I have is to add a cloud save feature, to prevent my characters from being deleted should I upgrade my device or simply have to restart my current one. I'd love to see this app be built upon, and I'd gladly pay money for this app after a few updates.

Works like a charm to keep track of pc's and npc's. Took a bit of work to set everything up though, and I wish there were more advanced options for certain fields

I enjoy how simple and distinct the design is, and how it had a built-in die rolling system. However, It doesn't have sheets for every kind of rpg. I had to write our characters from scratch.

It doesn't add anything up for you, but for those who like pen and paper it is a perfect upgrade.

I looked for an app enabling me to make my own character charts and this one is nearly perfect. Nearly because my friends and I work with a D30 system and it would be great if that would be implemented. Everything else is well sorted and easy to understand.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that you can essentially create your own custom character sheets. App exceeded expectations!

It has a slight learning curve but once you understand the mechanics its very simple to completely design your own character sheets.

Good app. Customizable for my indie RPG. However, it would be nice to be able to copy pages (so I can just change titles around instead of creating from scratch). It would also be nice to change order or pages. Otherwise, a useful app.

Does just what it promises. Fairly intuitive interface. And the characters & templates are stored as JSON, which makes it easy to customize...

Could use some tweaks(change page order, more included icons, A TUTORIAL), but it's really good once you understand how it all works.

really like this app could use a little more work. would be nice to use a calculated field in another calculated field without an error

Awesome Work. Very flexible and open design. Could definitely use a "Users Manual" for beginners and to explain how some fields (calculated field) are managed.

This app is great for anyone who needs a constant list of characters and or NPCs for a lot of games especially D&D

I love how you can make a sheet for just about any RPG, and the fact that you can import a photo of your character, a feature that a lot of the other apps lack

Works great and has built in dice. Only wish I could add my own icon sprites.

Very useful, but you must take the time to define your template for your game/games.
