ennovatis Smartbox

Read, log and control what ever you want. From heating, cooling and ventilation to irrigation and burglar alarm systems. With the ennovatis Smartbox only your fantasy is the limit.

To use this app, you need to have an ennovatis Smartbox. If you don't have one, you can connect to a (real) demo box.

This app allows you to visualize arbitrary counts of data points from days to weeks back.
You can switch on or off any kind of thing connected to the box. (This does not work for the demo box of course!)

The system is not bound to a particular application nor is it necessary to write or even know any complicated programming languages.
All functionalities are defined by graphical symbols and connected to each other by references.
To implement this, a windows PC along with the Smartbox Manager (also free of charge (not the PC)) is necessary.

The Smartbox itself has 8 temperature inputs, 8 analog inputs and 8 digital inputs (counters and states). The two on Board Mos-FET outputs can easily be extended by wired RS485 modules. The modules are only restricted to Modbus 485/TCP or by an ASCII protocol, not to a dedicated vendor!

To read power- or heat-meters a pluggable M-Bus converter can be installed. Also for M-Bus: No special vendor is necessary as long as they confirm to the standard M-Bus protocol!

And last but not least, if you don't have a wired connection to the Internet you can use an optional pluggable GPRS Modem to get access to your home automation system.
