Rubén Doblas Gundersen, más conocido como «El Rubius» o «Rubius» (Mijas, 13 de febrero de 1990), es un videoproductor en la plataforma YouTube de origen español. En la actualidad, es el youtuber más seguido de su país, el segundo en lengua española y el 3º más popular de YouTube a nivel global. La temática principal de sus vídeos son los videojuegos comentados, tratados de una forma humorística.

El Rubius cuenta con dos canales, elrubius y elrubiusOMG, siendo este último el único que utiliza actualmente. El primero de ellos fue creado, según el propio canal, el 3 de abril de 2006 y fue sustituido por el actual, creado el 19 de diciembre de 2011, ya que debido a una denuncia de contenidos por infringir normas de la comunidad de YouTube, no se le permitía ser partner y obtener ingresos por subir contenido. Aunque la mayoría de su contenido está basado en gameplays, en los que se comenta un videojuego al mismo tiempo que se juega, en su canal cuenta con otro tipo de vídeos, como videoblogs de los viajes que realiza, directos, respuestas a preguntas de sus seguidores, sketches o challenges (retos viralizados en la red) entre otros. Todo ello en la clave de humor que le caracteriza.
A finales de 2011 subió un vídeo de tipo gameplay en el que comentaba situaciones del videojuego The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, el cual terminaría por volverse viral en Internet y consiguió atraer suscriptores a su canal de YouTube. Más tarde hizo una parodia del videojuego Minecraft, cuyo título era Minecraft en 1 minuto, que volvió a viralizarse y se hizo un hueco entre los más destacados del momento en YouTube en español. En 2012 comenzó a subir vídeos en los que participaba en chats del portal Chatroulette como un troll de Internet. Su canal logró ser el primero de España en número de suscriptores en noviembre de 2012, cuando superó al videoproductor Willyrex, y logró el millón de seguidores en febrero de 2013. En febrero de 2015, se convirtió en el primer canal español en alcanzar los 10 millones de suscriptores.12
En octubre de 2015 YouTube organizó una gala para conmemorar su décimo aniversario, donde Rubius y el también youtuber español Vegetta777 recibieron el premio «Botón de diamante» que se otorga a los canales con más de diez millones de suscriptores.13 14
A fecha de enero de 2017, El Rubius cuenta con más de 22 400 000 suscriptores y sus vídeos han sido reproducidos más de 4 800 millones de veces.15 En la red social Twitter tiene más de 8,1 millones de seguidores y en Facebook más de 7 millones.
