About Chemical Pal
Chemical Pal (or ChemPal), the Chemical Resource, is an app designed to allow students and professionals to get information about chemical data in day-to-day chemistry and education.

The app provides four features. The first is a Periodic Table of the Elements, which is color-coded for different element types. You can tap each square to get basic info, or tap its full name to get the data sheet on it.
The second is a mass calculator, that allows you to input any formula, such as "Al(SO4)3", and receive the relative atomic mass of such a compound. Additionally, typing in the name of a single element (such as "Hydrogen") will yield the mass of that element.
ChemPal also provides an elementary Reaction Balancer, including electrons (and compound charges)!
Finally, you can browse a list of all elements in the periodic table and view their name, elemental index, and weight. By tapping on one, you access our third feature, the elemental data sheet, which provides weight, density, boiling point, melting point, electron configurations, and more. Also provides a link to Wikipedia.

For an app that was updated last year, the UI looks beautiful, and switching between the apps features is very fast and clean. I haven't found any problems with the current four main functions of the, app, and would gladly donate if the developer could guarantee and update adding more content.

Great looking app. Are you planning to add a list of all the chemical formulas? It's a pain having to always Google them.

Overall, it is a great app with lots of info on each element. However, it should include pictures of each physical state and some additional interesting information like the elements' practical applications. I look forward to added features in the next update.

This app has a fantastic UI, really pretty and well structured. I actually enjoy using it. A few more features would be nice, perhaps for mole calculations or something, but otherwise very good.

Periodic table could use a scroll bar. Can't scroll with one finger. Enlarge and scroll with two fingers works, but awkward. Element list search is very nice. Can quickly find by name or symbol. Overall good start. Also recommend Chemistry Helper and ChemMobile.

There is a glitch when you have more than 5-6 reactants/products entered in. It cuts off the first reactant in the solution and shows the rest. Fairly annoying. Other than that love the app.
