Although it is great to have something like this out there to help people, it truly bothers me that in the summery of the app you imply that there are measures you can take to prevent this and once the app is downloaded it suggests you not have children to prevent EDS! If the developers opinion is not to have kids that's their choice but an app like this should be full of fact, not opinion and they should not imply that abstaining from parenthood would in any way prevent anyone from getting EDS!

I give it 5 Stars at a minimum of helping spread the word of EDS Awareness. There is allot of misdiagnosed cases and Drs and Specialist awareness is abismel at best and prolonging a patient's pain /agony need of identification and treatment at worst. I have Hypermobility Type with POTS/Disoautomia and took 8 years of countless research on my own and numerous Drs that just wanted to have a business of curing Colds versus just even Googling the Symptoms. I wonder if the 2 Star reviewer has EDS?

As much as I love the awareness, this app does not show the information necessary to understand eds including its complexities, all of its symptoms, or various types. It is not a matter of flexible joints that we suffer from but from multiple dislocations through each and every day that are painful. This app does not provide the detail needed for others to understand eds

I have EDS and it just repeated itself in the app. I was looking for a specific answer I had, but it wasn't in there. It's just an app for awareness pretty much and to give a couple of hints at what the disorder is. Also it's not a disease, were not infected by some thing, it's just a gene malfunction.

And I'm not a huge fan of implying you can prevent this syndrome as it is a generic disorder. Telling a newly diagnosed EDS patient that they should think twice about having kids is not cool. Every child born has a chance of a repressed gene mutation or even a spontaneous mutation. Does that mean every potential parent should see a geneticist to determine risk?
