Link now completely broken.... And no link to 'i' offshoot at all ????. I'm prepared to put up with some adverts on a free app BUT those which spontaneously play audio are too much ???? I often read news in bed and this nonsense wakens up my OH!

Been using since 2012 on many phones, always worked well. For those who have issues with the independent, that's down to their responsiveness and not the app

Needs updating, links are starting to get a bit stale. Whilst a User can edit them, it would be nice if the Developer could be bothered to update the App.

Keeps coming up with a pop up saying I've won a prize. Continually does this and unable to get rid of it unless you close the app and restart the phone.

Works well a good selection of newspapers in one app! Brilliant : ) Been using this for ages now its still Brilliant thanks☺

Does exactly what it says no problems with this app being using it for years.

In recent days I've noticed that it now takes ages for pages to load..... Ads slowing it? If this continues I'll switch to Browser bookmarks as it's becoming a pain!

Great app but frustrating it persists to ask me to add a rating (which was a 5, but I now reduce to a 1) because it won't keep to what it says and stop asking me for a rating each 3rd time I use it.

Crashing six times in under ten minutes. A new record. Not to mention half of the newspaper links don't work. It used to be good, this app.

I use this a lot and it generally works well. The home option allows a quick escape route when obstructed by subscription, adverts or layout problems. Thank you :-)

Excellent quick way of getting all the news.Also digital spy and wikke. Some don't work, ie Guardian, hence 4 stars.

Good to have presents the newspapers that are of interest to the readers the way news can be read is palm sized and much more no fast draining battery..

This app loads pages very quickly and is stable on my Chinese clone Android phone. I have now put this app on my LG G4 and it is so much quicker and smoother.

There's not enough choice of local papers,I wanted the Lancashire telegraph

It is very easily customised to include (and add) those news sites you really want to follow and to delete the ones of no interest to you.

Very intrusive advertising spoiled the experience by occluding a lot of the screen

Keeps crashing and refuses to return to last page veiwed. Very poor will be removing from phone today.

A good and useful app, but, the Independent never loads, and the ability to share stories always results in failure..

It's alright but buggy. As other people have said, it works for some sites but not others.

I really like that you can create your own folders and populate them with your own news and sport websites.

Like to keep up to date with local news and this app does exactly what it says on the tin.

4 stars for choice, 5th star for the FAVOURITES where I can add my own choice of web sites. I do use this instead of google favourites.

Would be Five Stars but the links never work inside the stories. E.G. today's story of Obama rejecting the Keystone pipeline...tried to forward but gives err message.

Could be better! Being annoyed with pop up advertisements taking over this app when you click on a news link etc.

Had this app for years but recently persistently stops working and only way to fix is to restart your phone. Brilliant when working fine

Easy to use with useful information. Good lay out

For some reason, I will be using a newspaper website, the mirror, in this case and a advert for a porn sight suddenly flashed up on my screen and couldn't be removed. Not happy

Independent doesn't work anymore.. Please fix

Some links are dead (Sky News) and some let you read half an article before asking for money. Some hang on loading - the Independent. But useful for a few links, Reuters especially, where you can see the source of most 'newspapers' articles.

Does what is says on the tin. Particularly like being to start up in your own favourites folder.

Great app with excellent coverage of national newspapers.

To use this app is very easy my problem is that it will repeatedly restart on the background slowing down your device and draining battery
