Nature Viewing in Florida for Android
Android Galaxy S5. Map doesn't work. Sorting by Cities just shows black blanks with check boxes & the text of the city names is only visible when I click on one. There doesn't seem to be any information about each site - just the name, a phone number, and a button to click for directions. It would be a fantastic app if it worked properly. Is this the result of low-budget State government work? Can't expect quality products if you aren't willing to pay for quality work.
Love the app, but has issues. Crashes on my Galaxy pad at certain places. Love the overall feel but could be more intuitive in some areas. The pictures could be better quality and larger sized. So, app is what I'm looking for and will support its development. It will be used! Look forward to its further development.
An incredible guide to all of Florida's naning Willie and Birding Trails. You love it.
This guide is the best I've seen.
I appreciate this very informative app. Wish I could see the images better as the thumbnails are very small . Also would be nice to break each category into sections ie seabirds , swallows etc .thanks !
This guide is the best I've seen.
I like this app, because you can find everthing
Great for simple species browsing. Excellent for amateur naturalist as an identification guide.
This could be very useful however, searching is terrible e.g. butterfly, black and yellow results were one of the black swallow tails and that was it. No Zebra Longwing or Swallowtail nor any of the multiple other blk/yel Swallowtails. Just one of many examples.
While with potential, this app has a long way to go. Start it up and you are presented with 6 non-descriptive icons. Click on birds, butterflies, or flowers and you are presented with blank screens which you may eventually figure out that you need to select filters by color, size, season, and/or habitat (the latter doesn't work with birds). You may, again, eventually figure out that you need to tap the text at the top of the screen to display a list of things that fit your filters. As far as I can figure, there is no rhyme nor reason to the list order. It is not alphabetical by first name, last name, latin name, or species name. And the filters don't work properly either. E.g., select black, white, any season, hawk-like and you get Anhinga and Roseate Spoonbill! Are you kidding me? And, yes, by scrolling through the entire list of 200 birds, you'll find Swallow-tailed Kite -- a black & white hawk-like bird. Tap on the state of Florida icon and the app crashes on my Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.3) 7" tablet. This could be a great app for Florida nature lovers but it has quite a way to go.
This app works great on my Gingerbread Galaxy S phone, but some features simply crash the app on my tablet. The list of parks and environment features don't seem to work, but the flower, butterfly and bird features seem to work. I still love the idea of this app.

Force close every time. Toshiba Thrive.
Great guide to have birds, butterflies and plants in one!
It is a great application and I really enjoy using it, but I miss a "how to use guide".
Great I like it
Great for learning about our wonderful neighbors!
Awesome!!!
Tried to download twice....wont download... gave it two hours on strong wifi signal. ...new phone with plenty of space.
Wouldn't even download onto my razr maxx.
This is the biggest app I've ever seen. 330MB? I just went and looked at a bunch of flora and fauna guides and found nothing over 30. I'll have to download it overnight on a WiFi connection.
