Freegee is all new and rewritten from scratch. Everything is done on device now so there is no more white listing every variant, only just enabling models.

This is the next step in Project FreeGee. Have an LG Optimus G, LG Optimus G Pro or LG G2? If so this app will allow you to unlock (Optimus G only) or bypass your bootloader, remove LG Security and install cwm or twrp recovery. With removed lg security you can now uninstall any preloaded applications you want.

The reason why the version of cwm install by freegee is older. Some android devices get the dreaded recovery loop, when the volume buttons and the power button are pressed together to open the recovery mode. This happens with my lg-e980, and only with the newer version touch style cwm recovery, such as v6.0.51 and philz touch cwm. There is no solution to prevent the recovery loop, even after I flash the script that somebody swears that it solves the issue.

Wanna root your LGOG? You need this. Idiot proof operation unlocks your bootloader and installs TWRP recovery in two clicks. Also backs up your EFS partition, which you're really going to be happy about if you completely brick your phone.

Used to work like a charm on my E988 running on JB. But after KK update (Official) it has stopped working. Looks like there is more to it than an easy solution as there is no proper method available anywhere... Please update it soon :)

I got a new LG G2 from Verizon and wanted to load a custom recovery. I tried Flashify and using ADB method but they only resulted in a black screen when trying to enter recovery. I tried FreeGee and it worked like a charm! Only thing I would try to improve on is the UI.

Now it doesn't work with AT&T G2 on Kit Kat (D80020c version). That is a shame, because I originally donated when I found that FreeGee could successfully install TWRP on JellyBean, even though the loki_flash and dd= methods had failed to work. Back to 5 stars if/when this is fixed.

Buy this version and give the creator a dollar! The hard work put into this is worth it. This app worked great. Easy to use, nice interface, pretty much does it all for you! I used this on my LG Optimus G E907 (AT&T version) and I installed my Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) without any issues. Please read up on how to use this program before you attempt to do ANYTHING with your phone.

Big thank you to the dev for having the application check the aboot on startup. Possible crisis avoided as mine is not supported...yet. Program sends the info off to the dev, simple. Donate version purchased. I'll just let this bad boy sit in my app drawer until the time is right.
