Our project fills a need within DDRC to allow various managers to help notify employees that a particular shift has opened, and needs to be filled, with as few as two or three button presses. Before, the managing of this required the manager to go through his contact list, and one at a time, choose the various employees and manually text them all. We are developing a sleek and easy to use android application, which will allow the manager to easily and efficiently send out text message notifications to all of the employees that are listed in the common database. Our app helps to really streamline a process that has been historically disjoint and inefficient, allowing DDRC employees to focus on the things that matter most, the patients. This app helps realize that goal.
