Cal Poly for Android
Could use access to polylearn
There is no way to access my class schedule or portal. The map user interface is horrible and very ugly. If they spent time adding a colorful coordinated map, or even showing outlines of the buildings, it might actually be helpful, but at this point this "Cal Poly" specific map provides less information than Google maps. I've seen functional versions on my friend's iPhone, but as far as I can tell this is a waste of memory.
Update resolved crash Moto G RW
The Cal Poly app was actually made for Android, not just a lazy port from iOS. The map could use a better search and the classes section could be more detailed, but otherwise the Cal Poly app is a useful tool for students.
Thank you for the update. It will now actually open on my S3. But there should be a way to access mycalpoly portal directly from the app and there isn't.
Can open it now! Wish map had more details but its better than nothing when your lost. Weird suggestion? A list of bathrooms on campus? Would seriously be so helpful.
I'm running kit-kat and it recently stopped working on my device. Is this because of a recent material design update?
A great app but a recent update has broken it on my unrooted KitKat Galaxy i747. Perhaps this is due to a server issue for WOW?
Great job on the updated app. Huge improvement over the old app. Also the new material design implementation looks great. Keep up the good work! Ahem...Ryan...ahem...
Well done on the update. Much needed; much delivered.
Nothing more than a few web bookmarks at best. The map is just Google maps. You can search for building numbers in the actual maps app and it works just fine.
It's basically transfers you to A website
Won't even start up
Cmon Eric
Just takes you to the website. Complete joke!
Gets the job done
This application has many features that would help students in many small ways.
Very useful and helpful! The maps and grades sections are really neat and easy to access. The only thing we need now is PolyLearn access.
This app has great features that any Cal Poly student would find useful. Just wish there was a tablet version as well.
The crashing got fixed!
Sweet update!
Super slow and laggy on Droid DNA. Navigation drawer is painfully slow to slide in and icons are tiny in comparison to other phones. Just use the built in drawer api. It works so much better and is easy to implement. Reinstalled and rebooted with same problem. Other than that app works fine.
Its better to just use the school website. It would be real nice to be able to get to PolyLearn.
It didn't open, I get a green screen of death :(
Better.. but some are still glorified web browsers : Go with the update all the way!
So helpful, so many neat and helpful features
If a bit clunky. There are other resources here too (athletics schedules, emergency contacts), but I just use the map to translate building numbers.
Latest update fixed crash error on Android Galaxy.
I can't even get to the point where I can see what the app incudes because it crashes every time I open it. It sounds like it would be a cool app if it worked. I hope that they fix this issue soon!
App was bad before the update, but now it won't even open since it crashes on launch.
Crashes on my droid x
Anyone could make this..
Its not even an app. Its 9 ugly icons that open the web browser! And the icons don't even fit on the screen properly. This is a joke.
Doesn't help at all
Cool stuff, but forgot to add annonamus text or email.
Great
