About aWake
The aWake application is an alert system based off of the physical position of the device instead of the time of day like traditional calendar alerts or alarm clocks. With aWake you can travel using public transport and fall asleep, or get engrossed in reading that novel you have been wanting to get through. It can also be useful if you find yourself drawn to activities such as Geocaching or Geohashing. Such activities have you traveling to a previously unrecognized location, at which point aWake will let you know you have arrived.

Pros: works fine, as long as you remember to NOT close the app, but switch back to the OS or other app. Map search, radius select, coordinate entry. Works without GPS (use only phone network). Cons: Only internal loud siren alarm. Map seems slow. It doesn't seem to use cached Google Maps (loads it all again). Alarm very awkward to dismiss: alarm rings, everyone looking. Swipe, swipe unlock. Alarm message on screen. Tap. Nothing. Switch screens, find/run app. Dismiss alarm. Should use system notification
