If you want to make an awful html app, just make it a mobile web site. Doesn't follow android guidelines, doesn't respond to back button etc. Don't be lazy and make a native app.

The app has some trouble with tablets; the width stays short of 4 inches while the height adjusts, leaving a rather biting margin on either side. If you're hoping to navigate campus, I recommend the map of Brown from their website; it's more detailed, and you can get more information from one glance.
