GINA Puffin Feeder

The Puffin Feeder shows you the latest, near real-time images from Alaska from the Puffin Feeder website (http://feeder.gina.alaska.edu). In Feeder, you can see:
- Near real-time images from NASA and NOAA satellites
- Ice radar images from Barrow, Alaska
- Webcam imagery from Barrow looking out over the ice.

Satellite imagery is captured at the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus and sent out by the Puffin Feeder within minutes. UAF scientists scan the Barrow sea ice with radar constantly and send it back for you to view in Feeder.

The Puffin Feeder site is hosted by the Geographic Information Network of Alaska (GINA) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF).
