Grocery Tracker Shopping List for Android
Look if I download an app, it should not be expected for me to be an industrial engineer or computer engineer to operate the damn thing. Why have a scanner feature if is not gonna work, or have any item in your database? Why? Why I have to manually input every item? Do you have anything available already, or is just that you really need our help to grow your database? In other words, you were lazy and created a half-fast product. No, I should be able to just click, scan, or tab and that's it. An app should make my life easier, without me needed to spend a work day on data input, that's your job, not mine. I rather pay, if that's what's going on, an even then, guaranteed it will not work as promised unless we spend countless hours fixing your lack of competency.
I love this app! The backup process means I can send the grocery list to my husband without fuss. And the grocery list is so easy to put together once you get your recipes saved! It is well worth getting the Pro Key!
IT IS WORTHLESS. I AM NOT WASTING MY TIME ENTERING ALL THE ITEMS IN THE PANTRY SO YOU CAN DOWNLOAD TO YOUR SYSTEM. YOU make it look like everything is in THE APPS INVENTORY AND IT IS NOT It does not have anything you scan! I do I have to add to inventory Campbells Soup, Prego spaghetti sauce CMON THIS IS WORTHLESS!!! The people that are saying this app is great i don't think really use it. It won't scan normal stuff it has a lot of useless stuff. When i scan i should be able to add qty right then. Yeah most of the 5 stat users are not using it. Sorry the pics you show of all the items in the inventory are what people add not what is in the app.
Everytime I try to scan something into inventory, it said it wasn't found and made me manually input all the data. So what's the point of the app?
Great grocery/inventory tracking app. Wish there could be more stores though
Finally found the shopping app that does everything i want! LOVE IT
Seems to work ok but I can't sync between devices.
Once you read and figure everything out it's a really good tool to have.
This is a excellent easy to use tool for any chef that need to inventory a whole resteraunt while keeping tabs on all refrigerators freezes and walk-in coolers and dry storage areas plus expiration dates. I've explored numerous apps and so far this is the best. IF they ever add recipe food costing, this will be the number one app for inventory and stock. No more spreadsheets hip hip hooray!!!
Have been using this app for years. Absolutely love it! The inventory feature alone saves tremendous amounts of time. When you subtract something for the inventory, you can have it set up to add to a shopping list. Also love the menu features that you can build your own individual menus and those items will also connect to your inventory and shopping list. Haven't found anything else like it out on the market! Download now, you won't regret it!
A comprehensive shopping list, pantry inventory, recipe and menu management app which is up to professional standard. You could use this to manage a restaurant quite easily. Moreover, the app could be used to manage the purchasing of other items as well. With the exception of spreadsheets or printed reports, this app does it all. You can stick to a basic product list or add custom ones, and include your favourite shops and suppliers. I won't use anything else.
This app is excellent. It's the only grocery app that I know of that allows you to receive items into inventory once they're purchased. My only complaint (keeping me from giving it 5 stars) is that the bar code reader is horrible. Other bar code readers will work in most lighting conditions and in portrait mode. Using this one is hit or miss--mostly miss. Please fix it. I'm using a Samsung 7 Edge with a high quality camera and other bar code scanners work just fine. Revised 2/14--I installed one of the recommended scanners and it works great now. Updated to 5 stars. My only request now would be to allow export of inventory and shopping data into Excel or CSV formats for analysis.
I loved the idea of what the program was to do. I talked my husband into buying the pro-key when we couldn't afford it. I have complained over and over because when I try to multiply a recipe, it kicks me out of the app. No one has even answered any of these. Also when I try to add a recipe to the cart to get items when I go grocery shopping, nothing happens. I won't suggest this to anyone. I'd rather use the one I was using with them not even updating it. At least it works!
Love it! I've been looking for an app like this for a while. it scans all my groceries. I do have to manually link the item sice the database isn't really applicable for the Netherlands. I can import all my recipes and the support is great. There's only one thing that would make this app even better and that's a web-based version. Regardless, I am very happy with it!!
Love this app. Tried a number of others, and for me, this one is the best. Lots of options within the app, so you can use it simply, or you can use it as a complete, and fairly complex, management tool. I use it for all shopping trips (even non-grocery shopping trips). The shopping history screen provides great insight into how one might change some shopping habits to save money. The inventory options make it easy to manage the various storage locations at home (refrigerator, freezer, pantry, cabinets, etc.), should you want to manage to that level of detail. Super easy to build shopping lists for multiple stores and other sources (farmers markets, delivery services, etc.), and with the price update features you can know just how much cost you've incurred as you're adding items to your cart or basket or order. Definitely a 5-star tool to help manage the costs of day-to-day living.
Broken - after adding a couple of products will stop responding to taps to add another product. I have to exit the app and restart.
Potentially incredible app, concept is great, but is completely unintuitive with documentation that only serves to add to the confusion. Needs a much better overview explaining (in detail) the developers' design goals, the apps broad categories of capabilities, and how those capabilities inter-relate. I've had this app over a year and still can't figure out how to get sharing to work (and the documentation for it hasn't helped). That's how much I've tried to get this app to work-I don't give up easily. I know it's been four years, but honestly dev, don't you think having to contact support to get basic functionality to work, or to understand an app indicates there's a documentation problem, especially for a phone app, not a server-based DB? Also "thousands of users figured it out" - so you sink to insulting a potential user. You're a real arrogant, condescending prick now ain't ya?
Finds many products from scanned barcodes. Unfortunately, the scan button is awkwardly placed, either hard to tap or unresponsive. Also, either an integrated scanner, or another faster multi-scanning option is needed. ???? I greatly appreciate that this is NOT heavily data-mining or linked only to certain stores & brands. ???? Editing is a clumsy, multiple page process. Doesn't want to reset quantity to zero. Weird multiple fields for size of package seem redundant and under-used for value comparisons. Not all options, such as duplicating items, available in all views, but there are many such useful options. The different lists, stores, category/aisles etc. are awkward to view, sort, manage, and overlap. But the range of options is great. I don't understand why sales tax is set per store, rather than one global preset option. I tried using the extra tax slots for standard % discounts, but some allow negative value and some do not, peculiarly. Manual entry for unrecognized barcodes only requires one or two fields, very easy. An auto-fill from previously entered Brand Names would streamline it further. An option to return to scanning the next barcode immediately upon saving the last, for faster entry & inventory, would make it perfect.
Fantastic Flexibility - Prefect for tracking supplies and inventory. Put an item on your shopping list, check it off, and then add it into inventory with just a few seconds of time and effort. It links in menus and recipes if you want, too!
Difficult interface, but it can be handled by the time, my problem is that seeing the categories is not a basic thing, and I cannot put the list into expire date order (at least not yet).
I downloaded this application to keep a detailed grocery list and inventory what I have in the pantry upon installing it it instructed me to download Pro key so I went to go look for prokey it's $5 I'm just going to uninstall now and pass I'm not game for that
Another crap app. Just doesn't have the scan for the pricing at local stores. Does this not exist?
Can not get it to add tax rate
Like it, but would love it when I could add items to buy later i.e next week or on Pay Day.
Easy and simple to use. Premade list, easily edited and personalized. Have used it for years. Meets my needs well. List and inventory
I haven't been using all that long. But so far so good. Mainly using it for inventory feature...
Yea. This thing Rocks
It was more than I needed. But overall, I will use it.
Best grocery app going pricebook, lists, store I love it
Excellent way to be organized
I like
Doesn't have every thing listed

Excellent app and amazing support. This is the best shopping list app I've seen. It's loaded with features, but the features you don't use stay out of the way of the features you use regularly.
Great Developer & Support! Gets better with each feature added. App/website have instructions & tips. Not only a per store shopping list that can track the cost per unit of items, is a great data base for any and all items! Can track lawn & garden, clothing, shoes and any other products you wish to enter! One of my fav apps!
I get a message, "OPP, GT has stopped". There is still limited help. The thing is that this app's greatest strength is it's greatest problem. I is incredibly comprehensive which makes it difficult to understand, to be confident in starting to use it. It may be that the underlying code taxes the Android giving the "Oops". And good step by step detailed startup instruction that gets the basics up and running while making sure the cross-linking between catalogs, stores and lists would solve the help issue.
My husband and I would like a simple way to share inventory between our devices. We purchased the prokey so apparently we have all the bells and whistles but our apps don't look any different than the free one. I see the potential awesomeness of this app - but how can we both manage our inventory easily? Please help! Five stars if we can work it out...
Best app for price tracking, price comparison, inventory, any kind of shopping list plus more. It has a lot customizable features. I've been using it for over 6 years, and haven't lost my data. Customer service is fantastic. I recommend the pro version. Be aware that there is a learning curve with this app, Read the instructions.
Textbook case of a robust database and application developed by/for someone - who then likely refused to solicit or take advice from a UI design pro. I can't find another app with as many features, but the layout is almost impossible to get, and the help refers to titles & "colored bars" that I just can't find. Plan on frustration, and prepare to hope.
