What are users saying about Ear Trainer

by S####:

Letters should be in order starting with c. Better piano sound would be nice. The girl is very annoying. I feel super rewarded by the repetition of the bell sound. The app helps. But I use my other piano apps way more.

Z70%

Muting the result voice also mutes the ear training.

The voices used for affirmation and when we are wrong are very creepy. Please change. Otherwise an ok app.

I know music. When i give wrong answer game says its correct. Fix plz.

K70%
by K####:

May I suggest one correction. For violin, could you please start the lower octave from G. It currently starts from C. Thanks.

Q70%
by Q####:

The "you win" pop-up is distracting and covers the answer keys. Very annoying and unnecessary. Otherwise I'd like this app a lot more.

User interface needs improving

C70%
by C####:

Offers piano, violin, guitar and I think Bass. Only flaw i see is that it does not save preferences correctly so you have to go in each time you first start the app, other then that, it is very useful. You CAN disable the 'you win' voice FYI...

C70%
by C####:

rather than the anoying "you win" How about actually ringing the note when you get it right

T70%
by T####:

This is a good app however I feel that it could be improved by adding the black notes to the quizzes

I70%
by I####:

A great app for the beginner. You probably don't need it if you already know how to read music. The sound effects kind of freak me out a little o.O

G70%
by G####:

I use this app every morning to practice my note reading. No annoying ads. A few changes are recommended from my side. Allow saving of options such as instrument used or disabling the result sounds. On that note, make the result sounds less annoying (a simple sound instead of creepy kid voices). Also, allow the user to limit the number of octaves being tested by ear. This is very useful for beginners. Since I am one, I use another app for training my ear. Fix this and I'll use this app for both.

R70%
by R####:

I second the motion to fix the defaulting to piano bug; unique and overall the best one out there!

R70%
by R####:

I am sorry but to me it sucks but hey thats just my opinion.

R70%
by R####:

A fantastic app!! Thank you so much Mr. Derek!!

R70%
by R####:

Its basic but helpful, you can guess a single not or a whole measure. Those silly sounds "win" "loose" can be removed on options button. I only have a suggestion. The answer for the whole measure pass very fast and you can't modify your choice.

R70%
by R####:

Good so far but I keep pressing the wrong buttons because the letter of the note associated with the button is after the button! That's just not logical! Perhaps put the letter on the button or under? How about playing the note after you selected the right note in the reading training rather than the "you win"?

R70%
by R####:

I tried to change it from piano to violin like 6 times and it always went right back to piano. I downloaded this for some refresher because it's been a while, but I don't know anything about the piano so this is no help to me. I would possibly re install if this issue was fixed

N70%
by N####:

Wish it would touch faster.Otherwise what fun. Also on the note quiz, I get confused on if it's a bass or natural note. 1more is the circles & the notes re confusing.

R70%
by R####:

Can u add DoReMi names?

R70%
by R####:

"you win", "you lose" voices are too annoying

T70%
by T####:

Simple & clean :)

R70%
by R####:

Simple and just what I was looking for!

A70%
by A####:

The sight reading in the bass clef is wrong. It is actually the treble clef that is used in both the clefs in sight reading. I uninstalled this app.

R70%
by R####:

I haven't had a chance to get too deep into this yet but I'm liking it more than then the two other music training aps I paid for

R70%
by R####:

Good idea, but the bass clef is wrong, its the treble clef over again. Seems like a pretty simple problem.

Y70%
by Y####:

Perfect Ear is way better...

R70%
by R####:

It makes no sound for the ear training, what's the point of that?
