It works! Galaxy S5 Android 4.2.2 Nikon D5500. This app could have saved me from buying a remote if I didn't already have one. Only thing there is a bug, if I press and hold it keeps the shutter open but the shutter doesn't close unless I turn off camera or switch live view. But for just one touch it takes a photo perfectly!! :)

Works like a charm with my Samsung Note 4 and my new Pentax K-3 II ... Just a note to other users, the Pentax needs to be set to REMOTE mode in the drive settings. I would guess other cameras need this also to prevent them from responding to unwanted IR signals.

At first it wasn't working from my HTC M9 to my Nikon 5100 but then I went into the camera's Menu settings > Shooting Menu > Release Mode > Quick Response Remote, and switched it on and now it works perfectly. Exactly what I needed for those tripod mounted long exposure shots where you don't want to touch the camera at all. Thanks, much appreciated.

After struggling to get my Canon RC6 to work, changing batteries etc I played with this excellent app for 10mins and got my Canon 700D firing from my HTC One M9 So much better than my plastic RC6 that I paid good money for! Would willingly pay for this App!

Never got it to work on my Nikon D3400 using Samsung Note 4. Waste of time & space, uninstalling.

Nikon the Camera Conglomerate has yet to heed to request to fix there remote app for Samsung Galaxy S5. I was forced to search and install another app. Selected this IR App and it works perfectly with Nikon Coolpix P900 kudos please do not screw with this app.

Awesome. Works on my 60d with my Samsung note 3. Not sure if shutter timer is working properly however that could be inexperience on my part. I'm new to this camera and photography.

This app worked instantly with my Sony NEX-5. I didn't even have to select the model, just changed the manufacturer to SONY and right away it communicated to my 5-year old camera. Also has built-in functionality for creating time-lapse shots, allowing you to automatically trigger the IR action as easily as (time interval) X (number of repeats). This does more than the $45 camera remote I was considering buying from Amazon, I'm amazed that this app is free! 5+ Star app!

I have a nikonD90 camera.I was looking for a app that can use as remote,this one also can use as a time lapse controller.

Normally I use a cable intervalometer but forget to pack it occasionally. This is a nice app with some good features very handy to have on the phone.

I like this app, I own a wired remote from my old Minolta 7000 which also fits my Sony a57, which I've just made obsolete with this app. Works very well with my SG note 4 on marshmallow and my Sony a57.

Works great workout any lag. Happy with it. I hope in future, you guys integrate more features in it.

Works well taking pictures on my Nikon Coolpix P900 while using this app on my old HTC One saved me 30 dollars much appreciated.

Please enable installation for xiaomi redmi pro. I've tested the apk and it is working just fine with my sony a6000

Another one is almost identical and easier to use in my opinion. However this works fine no complaints.

There is a button in the bottom right hand corner of the number pad, which looks like a settings button. If you press it, you will be signed up for a subscription that charges your mobile account $2 a month. Other than that its a great app works on s5 and nikon 5200.

Love this app while taking star shots with my Sony NEX5N. My phone is a Samsung GS4, the IR blaster is so useful. Too bad Samsung has done away with the IR on their latest phones.

Works great with Galaxy S6 and Nikon D3200. Simple button interface, and voice/noise control option is very cool and works well; the sensitivity control makes it very easy to pick how loud the noise has to be to activate the shutter.

My remote broke and when I Googled remotes for cameras this came up...I had no idea my phone was capable! Fantastic job dev, simple and effective!

This app does precisely what it says. Works fine with Galaxy S5 and Nikon D3300. Remember to turn on IR receiver in the Nikon's Release Mode button, which is the button for controlling single, multiple, timer shots.

this is really great. I use for my Sony NEX7 and it's perfect. much better than spending good money on the official remote shutter from Sony
