Cool Tool Pro for Android
Really like this app. It is helping me to diagnose an issue I have with a different application. Customization to put only the data I want to show and exactly where I want to show it on the screen is amazing. One issue I had is that the app disappeared off the screen while doing my testing of the 2nd application. Any ideas why the app would disappear until I restarted the cool tool app? This is the only time it has done that.
Infinitely configurable, output looks great, performs well without causing major processor or battery drain. Also the only app I know of that can show the activity of all 8 CPU cores with a single gauge.
DO NOT BUY! Too many values or readings don't work or are dead wrong, at the least including available RAM and GPS. This app is theft, pure and simple. (Google, get rid of devs and apps like this which are only ripping off customers.)
Really is a cool little app. The customization possibilities are endless. Been using it for years on multiple devices. Oddly it doesn't always run on startup despite "Run On Startup" being selected. Runs on startup maybe 50% of the time. Not a big problem though.
Fantastic app, was just wondering if it was possible to monitor GPU activity with it
Fix permissions like DigiHUD did. On my Note 7 I constantly have to turn off CoolTool while accepting permission changes in other apps. Very frustrating. Back to 5 Stars when fixed. UPDATE: Android 6.0.1 on my Note 4/S7 Edge doesn't do this. Note 7 (Verizon) TouchWiz maybe?
Now can you make this for Windows?
Doesn't keep a log unless the graph overlay is displayed.... as if I want THAT in all my screenshots :( ...also the Pro icon needs to be labelled as such (no way of telling apart)
I really like this app, I first installed it when Google Play Music stated skipping on my brand new LG V10. I was able to track down to culprit and remove the offending app. No performance or battery life issues that I can tell our that I have perceived. My only quibble preventing a five star rating is once I upgraded to Marshmallow the Cool Tools graph stays on top of full screen apps. It's not a big deal for me but will probably (greatly) annoy some people.
Giving this app two stars for an issue that has little to do with it. Screen Overlay warning happens with almost anything that's an overlay. A ROM's own circle appbar will trigger that. It's a tapjacking security feature of your ROM. If it can't be disabled in your settings then you'll have to deal with it. There's nothing to fix in CoolTool.
I love this App I use it non-stop, the only drawback some programs somehow turns this off an I have to start it again. Is there away of locking it to the screen I mean superglue it to the screen!! Did I tell ya I love this App. Cheers Greg. Love ya Super Cool Tool Pro!!
It's very cool!
Everything everyone could ever want. Slime, wide, long, short; every metric, pixel by pixel; and always on top. Perfect.
Excellent app, but the feature that shows power intensive apps dose not work on Android 7
Great system monitoring tool. One of the best app in google play. I can choose many system properties. Display of each property can be customized in many ways. It is displayed on top in custom place so you can always see it. It is even more amazing on rooted phone. . . . . Unforfunatelly battery current does not work on Android 7 anymore.
I love this application and the awesome control interface is genius. I only found 1 issue that disappointed me and it can be easily fixed. The Battery Total Current status value shows over 4A for a longer than expected duration and is unrealistic value when the CPU has a light load and the clock is less than half. I also tried a simple test adjusting the display brightness to see if Total Current would change but it didn't go up or down
The app started great, then it just starts sucking down battery power.
When exiting full screen mode, the overlay is moved several pixels to the right... having it shown in full screen is the only workaround. The label on the far right always likes to disappear/reappear.
An absolute must have for system monitoring and debugging purposes!
It's a favorite and I finally rated it. Well written app. Very useful. Configurable beyond my wildest expectations.Wish they were all this good. I can see what's going on with my device without diving into menus. A must have for device geeks. I can't imagine not getting the paid version.
5 stars per the free version. decided to buy so can support the dev. just installed it, so far so good, and it picked up my previous settings from the free version. wondering why the internet access is needed for ad banner though (per description) as this version shouldn't have any ads...?
Since recently also allows separate position in landscape mode. Flexibility is unrivaled. Absolutely love it!
Love it, works very well and is extremely customizable.
Hello...I don't know how to use it ..can anyone assist thanks
Now it's a must have app for me
I am a youtuber ( I review phones and I change phones 5 to 10 times a month) this app has never been accurate. Needs a lot of work.
Good, but causes bootloops on Lollipop 5.1 with xposed enabled. Please fix.
A must have app. Works great..
My app
Android 6
Great app! Very useful.
The Dev no longer support the app
Seriously Useful
Love it. I install it on every phone I get. Doesn't drain battery too much either. bought this for the logging feature. Everything works but network traffic logging. Hope devs can fix this...
Excellent, was waiting for the PlayStore edition of Pro. Definitely worth the purchase. Thanks for your answer.
Excellent
But after using it for a bit, it seems that the last label that's initiated disappears and reappears on it's own

I realised, that I've been using the free version for a long long time, and have never had any issues with it. So I purchaced the pro version simply to show my support for your work. (probly wont use logging fuction in pro vs free myself) The only issues I have ever had, is getting the current ma value's for charging on a few devices as they hide it all over the place. Unfortunally, they seem to be migrating to cvar valuses instead of text locations, and I havent figuerd out how to pull thoes yet. Keep up the awsome work!
