Shady Contacts

Terrible. I'm still able to see the messages in my general SMS application. I thought it was built to hide the messages? Perhaps I configured it incorrectly. Bottom line, it is not hiding the messages.

Doesn't work on my device because it's "post kit kat". Kit kat was late 2013. Why does this app still exist? I gave it two stars because at least it opened with a screen pretty much saying just that.

Will not let me open app with default code now I lost my contacts

Nothing has changed other than now I can see texts both in my default app and this app as well..... pointless

Ok yes it hides my texts but even when I disabled notifications it still shows I have a message and says what the message says too! That defeats the purpose of me hiding my texts if someone can still see I received a message in my notifications bar! Fix that and I'll give it 5 stars

Hides my text messages great. It doesn't hide picture messages. They show up in my regular message log and my calls still show up in my regular call log. Also the app keeps forcing closed.

This app after installing,dsnt show me hw to get it working. And its start-up wizard is whack!!! Wizard wnt take me directly to where am supposed to turn on its SMS function!!!

Works great on my samsung gs3, the only thing that prevented 5 ★ was that it doesn't receive mms msgs. AND the fact thay i downloaded it in google play

Doesn't remove past items even after setting it to do so. Should have some sort of functions that goes through logs after a new contact is added from Contacts

I don't know how to remove someone from being blocked

The app works great but should I do if I forgot my password??

When you add a contact to hide and you text them then your text shows up on the regular inbox. Is there a way to have it show just in the app and not the default msg

How do you take someone off the app?

Great concept but the messages are still showing in my regular inbox. If this is not fixed I'll have no choice but to delete it.

It does exactly the same that I wanted and what it says. :)

The only thing I can do is add to contacts and they are still in the stock contacts. Pointless!

Untill there is a tick mark does the mssg get sent?

When I text someone it still show up in my original message inbox...

With a few minor technical issues but overall does what it should

Why cant i open shady when using the normal dial code.

Doesn't hide texts like it's supposed to. Outgoing Texts still shows up in the inbox until an Incoming texts comes in. Defeats the purpose of having it.

One issue is not very reliable. Text messages are not always hidden. Messages contain images are not concealed.

At last an easy to use app

so far this app is great! i even bought a licence but it needs an option to enable call blocking so that theres no surprise calls. and it wld be amazing if it cld do secret whatsapp msgs too :) great job guys!

It does what it says it does merely ok. It just doesn't go the extra mile and offer useful features. You can't send pictures, files or videos to hidden contacts. I would also appreciate being able to choose for different ways for the app to show/hide notifications, it's a tad obvious and I can think of more clever ways to obscure it. The UI for contracts is not very intuitive and you can't set pictures for contacts without having said picture fully visible/findable on your albums.

Even after uinstalled all the msgs were deleted.. cant get them back.. I need them now though. How im supposed to get them back?

I hid the app icon but I don't know where to enter the code to un-hide it.

Texts aren't hidden they go to regular texts as well...

This app seemed to be working great at first. It does exactly what it is supposed to do but it does a little extra that it shouldn't. Any call that I receive magically disappears from my phones call log. I've verified my settings and there is no reason for it to hide this as I have my list of hidden contacts which is only 5 within the list. Anyone that calls me information is not saved.
