Pentax tethered capture demo for Android
Well... yes, i hate it because it is not working. First of all i am glad there is a demo version so you do not spend your money in vain. I tried to make it work on PC, installed the PC version and it was not working. And believe me, i hove some experience in my life. I am a photographer and graphic designer for more than 10 years. So when i failed with Lightroom CC plug in i told myself - i should try tablet version. Same thing there - no connection with the camera (Pentax k-5). So, the idea is good, the realization - not good yet. I am glad i did not bought it.
Being the only tether app for pentax, this is the only option, unfortunately it is buggy and temperamental . Shame as I would of paid for a clean working tether app for my pentax.
Does not work.
tested on k5 "mark1". well it kinda works, but with flaws. k5's lcd light is mostly flickering all the time. UI could be improved. I guess it's the only tethering software on android out there. and for 30 bucks it looks too expensive. though I do not expect some miracle tether for the past models.
I really wanted this app to work and it does kind of. There are no dslr tethering apps for pentaxs except for this one but it still has way too many bugs to make it usable unfortunately just yet

looks like a real nice app but could not get it to work on a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 phone (running Android 4.4.2) with a Pentax K-50. Just would not connect. USB OTG was working and I stopped the USB Mass Storage from activating but still no success. Hopefully an update fixes the issue.
