Now it won't open
Seems to do exactly as it promises: allows easy creation of custom shortcuts with whatever icon and name you like. Perfect for when you want to replace stock Android/carrier apps but wish to retain their icons/titles.
Great app, works just as it should! Don't remember how expensive it was but this is no doubt a great app. Surprised to see it only has 1000+ downloads
My HTC One X inexplicably hides Polaris Office so that it can only be opened by opening a document. This enabled me to put a shortcut on the home screen so I can open it directly to create new files.
Will not open. Force closes on start up EVERY time. Utterly useless and waste of money. I want my money back.
Doesn't work... got charged 3 times. "STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP"
Why can't open in my galaxy note 2???? Keeps crashed! Fix it or refund my money!
Renaming your files made easy.
Scaling is a bit off on my Galaxy Note 8

No refund when app doesn't work
When I first bought this app I had my doubts of it not working on my galaxy player... But i'm very happy with it and I think it's flawless!! The way you can change them is perfect for what I need :) great app 5 stars
Woks as it claims on my HTC phone. However, on my Samsung Tab2 10" it only creates small icons, not the normal tablet size icons. There is another problem - it only places the new-look shortcut on the "main" home screen page from where it is not possible to move it to the other home screen pages. This is a shortcoming of ICS (or Samsung add-ons), but makes this app useless.
I absolutely love this app. I'm using it on my LG Optimus L7 and it works flawlessly. No more ugly icons, non-descript app names, or useless opening menus. The only improvement I can think of is actually listing the shortcuts as apps so you can use them on lock screens, share menus, etc
This seems to be the only available app to allow you to rename shortcuts for Apps that insist on using overly long names that wrap, take up too much screen space and look really ugly. Unfortunately though the renamed shortcuts just don't stick and are replaced by the originals after a short time. I could perhaps understand them disappearing on a reboot but even turning the screen off or changing the screen to another program can be enough to make them revert. A great idea but not quite there yet. Using HTC One XL with Android 4.0.4
Worked well under ics on my galaxy s3. But since update to jelly bean it crashes constantly and all shortcuts are restored to the original ones. So useless now. Pls cirrect this issue
The app stores what it changes only in RAM, so when you reboot or clear memory, the shortcut turns to its default state.
Nexus 7 user here. I couldn't find where it put the shortcut at first!? You have to press Add and Save. It creates the shortcut and puts it on the home screen. From there, you can drag and drop it where you want. Yippee!
Please add options to add option to hide original icon also
Tried a couple of others--one cropped the icon, one created a widget that had to "load" every time it refreshed. This one just works. Now if I could figure out how to force a two line name on a Atrix 2 ICS homescreen...
Needs an update
Quick and easy to create shortcut to an app but name it the way I want. Any chance you can sort the app list. Currently its unsorted which is messy. Has a find function that works well so not a major. We're just used to fast scrolling lists which depends on being sorted. Cheers.

Enlarges & warps certain shortcuts just like App Name Editor.
Does what it says, perfect.
This app does what it says and I am able to rename my home screen icons by creating custom, quick loading shortcuts.
RAZR maxx Awesome tool. Thanks.
Since i can see some apps that could not find in the others
This app is great for renaming app shortcuts, not the apps themselves...like every other "app name change" app in the android market. At least some of the other ones are free.
Like this app alot. It's really annoying that android does not have something like this built in. This was definitely worth while. Interface could be a little more user friendly, (filter out apps that are never used like system apps.) Overall though, does what it says on the tin. Fully recommended, no laggyness on my phone as a result of the modifications to the shortcuts, and most important of all, I did not need to get a home replacement app. So my TouchWiz is still in use on my Galaxy Note. Many thanks to the app creator. UPDATE: Seems to sometimes force close... little annoying, but I guess the author will fix.(Galaxy NOTE)
