FolderSync Pro

Just what I was looking for! I have a lot of camera, drawing, audio recording/editing apps on my phone and it is a major pain to keep consolidating the media and exported files collectively and manually! This app keeps my system lean, clean and organized. Very extensive options. For anyone with an android mobile equipped with an external SD card, this app is a must! Great job. One suggestion? I have a couple apps that save output files to new, uniquely names subfolders under one main folder. It would be awesome if there was an option to 'collect' and redirect files contained in subfolders to a single target folder without creating copies of the subs.

I use this app to sync my Calibre epub library to my tablet. It works beautifully. I sync a few other items as well. The interface can be a little confusing at times. But the app is very powerful and I am not sure if there is an easier way to display everything. I only use manual sync at this time but I can think of reasons why I would need and want scheduled and instant syncs which this app can do as well.

Great utility app. I sync folders stored locally to Box, Dropbox, and Drive. Works very well. I had some issues with syncing to the external SD card after upgrading to LineageOS 14.1, but the internal storage is enough for me, so I got rid of the SD card. If you prefer to have local control over your data, this app is wonderful!

Great concept but the sync speed is slow even over 5ghz WiFi. I've seen other users complain about sync times as well so I assume it's a bug. Schedules are nice however it doesn't seem notify you for missing a sync. So I've went about 2 month without syncing. Other than that, pretty good app for backups.

Been running perfectly for a while but a couple of weeks ago it suddenly started giving a Java error & hasn't connected since. Nothing changed here or at the cloud end, the app just suddenly stopped working. It won't create new folder pairs returning the Java error instead. UPDATE tried uninstalling & reinstalling but it didn't help. Doesn't do the job at all now, uninstalling as it's a waste of space. UPDATE no sign of any constructive action. Really wish I hadn't bought this - USELESS!!

Absolutely brilliant app. It saves a lot of work. / I had to give up my old file manager since it didn't allow me to include sub-folders and at the same time choose "skip" for duplicate files. Most file managers will not allow for "merge all folders but do not overwrite files". Foldersynch does.

Great app. I am using it for SFTP to backup my photos to my own server. I gave up to Hubic :) I don't understand why people complaint. Even Microsoft or Samsung apps have bugs and crash. So, for third party app works pretty well. Thanks!

28/06/2017 update has made a 2 minute sync now take 20. Not what I would call a bug fix to be honest. EDIT: Appears devs have noticed something too and have rolled back to previous version - nice quick response there. 5 stars

I bought the full version. Occasionally it gives errors, but they go away. In most cases unlink and relink account to resolve error. Will still love to have error free app. But this app has no alternative.

Application is powerful and actively improves. App has a big disappointment spot on top of its very basic functionality though - can't work properly with both internal and external SD starting from Android 4.4. Developers explain it as an Android limitation, but I would not accept an excuse as my file manager works smooth with both.

No hidden charges, great functionality, and well designed. Only observation is it seems to stop on permission errors instead of move on to next folder. Edit: no longer syncs just states sync in progress and 0kbs

Completely indispensable and at the same time a pleasure to use. Didn't look bad before, but the material facelift surprisingly (to me anyway) really did spruce things up a bit. Just an outstanding app from stem to stern. Worth every penny, but please add SMB2/3 support.

A few things - the author has acknowledged issues with being able to provide timely or thorough updates or support, and I want to be respectful of their time. The good: this app is a beast - it is incredibly flexible and configurable. It lets the user connect with many different cloud storage services (except iCloud) and sync different folders one-way or two-way with those servers. I use it to sync several folders to different cloud backups, and this is awesome. Almost everything can be customized. It seems fairly reliable but not 100%, although there is an option to auto-retry, and you can configure it to notify you on failure (or success, or both, etc). The bad - there seems to be an ongoing issue connecting with Google Drive (my connections to OneDrive, Dropbox, and Amazon Drive are all fine). This is a significant issue, it looks like the author rolled back an update to address this, but it still seems to be an issue, and none of the recommended fixes address it. I hope that gets fixed. Otherwise this is an incredible app for the price, and a must have especially for devices that are in the grey area as laptop replacements (I use it on my Lenovo Yoga Book).

Reminds me of beyond compare on the pc. Update: been using it every day for more than a years now, apart from some update trouble in may 2017, reliable, predictable and stable. Well done devs :)

Not reliable. It just decides randomly that it won't run a scheduled backup. If I wanted to manually run backups I wouldn't have bought the bloody app in the first place.

Worked perfectly for years, now many errors since the last update. Failing syncs, keeps up-/downloading identical files, etc. Hope you have a fix for this quickly! It is now syncing 800+ / 6gb per night, identical files. And it's not fully constant, some day it may change to other files... Please fix asap!

FolderSync is a "Must Have" App if you are serious about backing up your files! I have over 16GBs of Service Manuals, Operating Guides, Schematics and Procedures Manuals. I use FolderSync to make multiple backups to my local NAS and Cloud Storage accounts. Have used FS since version 2.7 and it has worked flawlessly. I use on my Galaxy Tab S2 and Tab S3. But, beware of updates, as you will have to relink to your Cloud Accounts.

To rate 5-stars is understatement and won't give justice to this wonderful app. FolderSync deserves a 6-stars, it exceeds the maximum, worthy of a rating higher than the superlatives. I will write Google to allow in Play Store the 6-stars rating which is exclusively assignable to no other app except FolderSync, Honorim Perpetua.

It's great to have one app that covers pretty much every file related thing. The only improvement I would like to see is a dual pane option like Solid Explorer.

Bit tricky to set up at first but once 1 sync is configured it can be copied and edited to create others easily. Also allows sync jobs to be backed up. A*

Syncing with onedrive sucks. First it works for a while, later i get a java error. Only thing that helps is to recreate the onedrive account.

It is... OK. Not good, not bad, but reasonably OK... The File Manager doesn't really work, but sync works most of the time. It used to work pretty solidly, so I originally gave it a pretty good rating.

Using this to transfer 5mb,Using a file Explorer, same network 20mb,something seriously wrong with the way this connects.

Already a great app, a must have! But the icing on the cake would be the ability to sync only new/updated files since the last sync, so that on one-way syncs, I can delete/move files on the remote server and not have them resynced.

Terrific so far. Been looking for an app that can auto download files that I put in a specific folder into my onedrive, this worked perfectly. Love the pro version for the very quick syncing! Thanks devs, the options are plentiful and the app is much better than other options.

Excellent. Really, really excellent. Beats many desktop sync clients in functionality and ease of use. Would be nice to be able to resolve conflicts from within the app.

When this app works it is great very intuitive. And a very stylish layout the only problem being that the developer is near impossible to get in contact with. Otherwise great app

The app isn't working properly. It is not synching Google Drive or One Drive.

Unreliable -- bogus "network unavailable" failures, restart needed to recover, instant sync not working. Support unresponsive.

Strange? Used to work, but after updated, it stops working.

It used yo work great, unfortunately in my new phone most sync jobs hang in "sync in progress" and never do anything EDIT: Now it works as expected :)
