My Movies - Movie & TV Collection Library for Android
Really good app to keep track of what you have, but it's functionality leaves a lot to be desired and needs to be improved. For example, my collection list regularly goes blank if I make some changes to my films and I have to go away from my grouping selection and then back to it in order to get my collection list to appear again. It's very frustrating. This bug must be fixed ASAP.
I paid for the app but after 3 days KY keeps saying buy again go back to only 50 movies what's the deal Months later same problem asking me to pay again for same app been spending 2 days trying to fix it
Great app, was looking for something like this, scan and collect that simple! Love the convenience of it, love that you can filter etc. Such a great app thanks!! Have already recommended it, would love to see a borrowed option along with the already there lent section, also would love a random button to chose one at random for me to watch, just an idea! It's a good app I like how you just have to scan the movies there was only a couple I had issues with it is a little glitchy every once in awhile when you turn it on but for the most part it works really good
This is a decent app to keep track of DVDs and BluRays, but I wish I could also add my VHS collection, whether with the scan option or by manually putting it in. Great app though if you only have discs.
Great app. Only problem is if i dont use it for a while and i go to check what movies i ha e at the shops i have to sync it again which takes ages to do.
I liked the old version better. I have lost more than half of the titles in my collection. Seems to be always syncing but then not everything comes back.
Useful app if you have lots of movies and you like to keep track of them. This is the third phone I've used this app with and I like it. Much better than any others I've tried.
Best app for keeping track of a large dvd and bluray collection, simple to use, nice UI although a bit pricey it's worth the price
Does exactly what I need it to do. Allows me to catalog my disc, check them while I'm out, and share the catalog online with other people
Unfortunately this app will not work for me considering the fact I have over 425 movies

I think it's a great app except it won't work without access to your cantacts, phots and media files, WHY??

This is ransomware. I loaded over 500 movies and the app demanded payment. I paid and got 50 of the over 500 movies entered.

No Longer only DVD and BLU-RAY supported, VHS, Beta, Laserdisc, etc, CAN BE ADDED. There is online backup, and when you have a collection approaching 1,000 titles THIS (Pro Version,) is WORTH EVERY PENNY NOW IT SEEMS the support staff is disinterested....so close, yet so far from perfect.
I used to use this app regularly to help me keep track of what movies I owned so I wouldn't double purchase on a whim. It also helped me to keep track of who I loaned movies out to - and then it lost my database. Contacted support, got one response back, and never heard from them again. I've since found the solution to the problem, but have moved on to another app after my experience (and wait).
Had to pay for it twice when I got my new phone. My entire collection was lost. Then try to add them all again and it wouldn't let me. Contacted customer service and all they did was ask me 2 questions then communication stopped. On to something better.
The Free Apps are Garbage. It's a tad overpriced but you never want for anything. The competitors are terrible and look like they run on DOS or Windows 95. This is the one. Meticulously crafted and supported online by the creator and legions of users who exchange advice and bug reports continuously. I dunno what a better app would look like. If you're a real movie collector you won't regret this purchase.
Do not buy if you are ever going to change mobile phone platforms!!! After spending £5.99 for the full version while using my iPhone, I was then told to pay another £5.99 to access my account on an Android device. These restrictions are not made clear when purchasing the app and breaches the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I think you find that you are in breach of the Consumer Rights Act - in particular: Section 68 of the Act makes it pretty unambiguous (appropriately enough): Requirement for transparency (1)A trader must ensure that a written term of a consumer contract, or a consumer notice in writing, is transparent. (2)A consumer notice is transparent for the purposes of subsection (1) if it is expressed in plain and intelligible language and it is legible. Which should mean that there’s no more hiding product details, fees, penalty clauses or get-out clauses in Ts and Cs or language so opaque that even Stephen Hawking would struggle to understand it. Therefore, as you haven't made it clear, before purchasing the app originally, that additional charges would apply to use it cross platform, you haven't been transparent and are in breach of the Consumer Rights Act.

As of 2017-10-16 (almost 2 months) still no reply to my email. I guess my issues are not priority. I have yet to see a benefit to this upgrade. Going to give it another try as I've just got a new phone. Replied via email as requested 2017-08-25. Loved the original my movies app. This one is barely functional. The original one my wife could use on her phone on my account. This one not even close. I've had to reinstall the program multiple times because it keeps "losing" my purchase info which is a complete pain in the ass. Also every time I connect on the phone and it hasn't "lost" my purchase info it makes me resynch my collection almost every time. I am almost at the point where I am going to uninstall the "my movies 2" app I paid to upgrade and go back to using the original app. Disappointed to say the least.
