What are users saying about Simple Symptom Diary

X70%
by X####:

Actually pretty useful. It can show correlations between factors and symptoms. It would be better if there were three measurements in a day, morning, mid, and night. Then time of day could be a factor. Can track menses but it won't do reminders like other apps.

K70%
by K####:

Why does a symptom for one day show up on every day? Think I would love this app if not for that. It's counterintuitive.

C70%
by C####:

Exactly what it says - add your symptoms and track their severity by day. Also lets you add specific notes and gives you nice charts and graphs you can export and show to your doctor. Great for people with chronic illness or pain.

O70%
by O####:

Love the app! Very easy, simple and useful. Would like to see a line graph over time where you could pick the symptoms and factors included so you can look for patterns yourself. I would also like it if there were an option to put the factors on a scale.

C70%
by C####:

Frustrated with this. Its very basic, easy to use. I just wish they took it further it has potential but doesn't do much. Can't look at factors can't undo mistakes poor instructions on how to use. Wish I could see a list of symptoms by day instead of days per symptom. I see how it could be useful for one symptom. Its also messy, symptoms and factors should be on different pages not scroll through a list. I wish they would make it better. Only good thing is how east it is to log a symptom.

C70%
by C####:

A good functional app with a nice interface. Only two things I'd like to change - a quicker way to travel to a specific day (I'm entering data from another app) and the ability to test for statistical significance when comparing a factor and symptom. (Is 3.32 vs 3.00 significant?)

E70%
by E####:

Didnt work. Very sensitive or just wudnt respond. Also so simple its pointless

C70%
by C####:

Although the app records symptoms and factors in a way that's easy to use and customise the interface is clunky. I'm also disappointed by the graphing options.

S70%
by S####:

I like how easy and streamlined this is. I would prefer to be able to label symptoms not just by day but also by time of day, though.

C70%
by C####:

I put in the symptoms I had today and it adds them for yesterday too. I didn't have them yesterday! When I deleted them for yesterday it deleted them for today as well. Stupid app.

C70%
by C####:

It would be much better if you could add a symptom to the day before....

W70%
by W####:

Simple. I wish the export function worked or if I was smart enough to figure out how to use it.

M70%
by M####:

Needs to work on tablets or at least support landscape mode

M70%
by M####:

Seems to work for the purpose. Easier than notes.

C70%
by C####:

Very intuitive and easy to customize

J70%
by J####:

Great balance of customizability and ease of use.

Q70%
by Q####:

When in the app, impossible to reach system buttons for home, back, apps. Have to pull down system notification bar to reach those bottom buttons again. Otherwise great app. P.S. I wish symptoms were editable

C70%
by C####:

Not too complicated and has some good featurex. I think one thing that might improve it is categories or lists of common symptoms.

I70%
by I####:

The purpose and general fulfillment of the app is good but has terrible ui errors like slow updates of the layers, dissappearing elements, overlapping text and buttons, etc. Please fix the UI as there is no other app as good as this

T70%
by T####:

Wish you could save notes, and see in a graph form if certain factors make symptoms worse or not.

C70%
by C####:

I inserted a symptom for two days before the today page and the symptoms are now coming up on every day on the diary. When I delete the symptoms from 'today', it deletes them from Thursday too! What should I do?

C70%
by C####:

Does exactly what I need, but you can't rename symptoms (no way to fix a spelling mistake) and you can't change the order of them. Fix that and this will be 5 stars.

W70%
by W####:

Overall, the program seems to work well, but the website doesn't seem to work and I can't figure out how to delete an incident of a recorded symptom if I record it accidentally. Ideas?

Z70%
by Z####:

Basics are OK, but a lot more can be done to make it more usable

C70%
by C####:

Very easy to use, easy to add symptoms and factors. 4 instead of 5 because it only logs the day, not the time.

C70%
by C####:

Would rate 5 stars if I could get the export function to work. Doesn't seem to be anywhere to enter an email address to export to.

R70%
by R####:

Would like to be able to edit symptom names, in case mistake was made, but otherwise it's great.

P70%
by P####:

After that, it wouldn't allow me to move forward or input more information.

W70%
by W####:

A great help!

N70%
by N####:

Seems to work for the purpose. Easier than notes.

C70%
by C####:

Simple and easy to use!

C70%

C70%

I really like this app and use it daily to record my daily symptoms. This app is great to track my daily symptoms levels. Easy to use and view.

T70%

C70%

I enjoy this way of learning. Would love to see more apps like this.

K70%
by K####:

I have repeatedly tried to open the application. All I get is a bright blank white screen. I have a Samsung Note 2 phone. I really wanted to try it out to see if it would meet my needs.

C70%
by C####:

I should be able to record the symptom more than 5 times a day - why the limitations? I also need timestamps to analyse the symptoms throughout the day.

D70%
by D####:

Doesn't fit in whole screen for Android, need better explanation of how to use.

C70%
by C####:

Would like if I could download data to pc and send it to my doc. though. Or at least share it with doc..
