Food Planner Pro Module

No progress in the last years, tons of sync issues... Used to be great but would need a major overhaul.

Apparently this app has been sold to another company and is not supported anymore. I really hate that as this was one of my favorite apps.

Keeping a menu plan for my large family has been made so much easier! It tells me how long it's been since I've prepared particular entrees, so that my family doesn't burn out on any food types. Helps ease shopping splurges when I have a list of what we actually need. Helps me keep track of what I'm feeding my family for various health reasons too! Highly recommend it!

This is a great app, I love all of the features and have used this for years now. The only other thing I could ask for would be integration with apps like MyFitnessPal to share recipes and nutritional info for even better meal planning!

Makes meal planning simple to organize. However I can't seem to log on to the website anymore which makes things way harder to input any new recipes etc. There's always problems with it online. Its always been a really slow site to respond but now NOTHING....I'm really bummed!

You have to pay for the menus. And the serving adjuster does not work. We made three meals and all three tasted bad. The serving multiplier causes things like too much salt to be required. The grocery list is useless without knowing the proper quantities. The family group module constantly overwrites itself causing the user to recreate the plan.

Pro app doesn't work. Won't allow family groups. Tried force syncing but the app still insists I need to go pro. Play store shows pro installed. Don't need non functioning apps-uninstalled. Update - in order to get the pro module to work you may need to uninstall then reinstall the free app. It doesn't update on its own.

After the latest update the photos appear to be stretched and the cooking/prep time and yield are bite at the bottom, it would be easier to work from from a recipe with this in formation at the top. The star rating stopped working in the previous update and still had not been fixed.

The mobile app lacks features available on the online web version (such as Expires On), yet on the other hand, the online web version looks like the remnants of a horrible GIT merge mess-up made by a junior web developer. It's absolutely abysmal. I'll improve my ratings when (at least), the online web version is improved.

I cannot stop recommending this app to all my mom friends. This app is just such a jewel. It may not be the prettiest app and there is an adjustment period to the flow of things. But I wouldn't trade that for how powerful this little app is. I've tried them all. Worth every penny I spent on this. Love love love!

I have used this app for several years and loved it. I bought the pro version immediately after downloading the regular version. There must have been some kind of an update done the end of December 2016 because my app will not sync any of my groceries and I can't get to my recipes or meal plan without using my desktop. It's totally useless to me now.

I can't wrap my head around this thing. Spent a few hours playing around with it. Both app and website. Ended up building a shoddy list with "4 butters" as a item and a bunch of other oddities. Easier building a meal plan in Google calendar.

I cannot sync with my boyfriend because the app is not sending an email to him. Also, I have been waiting 10 days for an email response from the company in regard to this issue. I emailed through the app's website. Yes, we have also checked our spam folders.

Not very intuitive & lots of bugs. Customer service is awful, and the website & app don't always communicate. I found some workarounds so it's usable. If coding was more solid, all the features would work, & the website & app would speak to each other then there'd be no need for having to try and contact customer service. If that was the case the app would get five stars. I'm mainly using it for the grocery list cost estimator otherwise I wouldn't use it. The estimator is the only unique thing about FP.

Great app, does what it says. Having slight issues importing grocery prices but other than that, a lifesaver. Also do not even start your library without creating an account. I put a few recipes in before deciding I wanted an account. Once I signed In, all previous syncs were gone.

The inventory just does not work and the help for it does not relate to this app. It only increases the inventary by one even if you buy 10 items and it does not reduce it when the item is used. It lets down the app and maybe best left out until it works as it should. That is a shame as it would make a very good app, perfect, leaving any competition in its wake. I did inform the app owners of this last year but it still does not work and it is still there promising to work, which is frustrating.

Does exactly what it says. Super simple. Cut down on impulse shopping big time for me! Only feature I'd request is something like a "quick add". For example, if I'm feeling lazy and just want to plan for "a sandwich of some kind", I could put that without it showing up in my recipes list as well. A sandwich of some kind is not a recipe lol otherwise, Thank you for this amazing app!

I love this app. It is SO easy to use I have been meal planning for over 2 years and don't ever want to stop. I would like it if the meal planning was drag and drop though.

It would be great if you could add recipes from ebooks or have a way to import them from notes or what have you. If you guys add this feature I will definitely rate with 5 stars.

Love love this, it has everything i need in one app. I only wish i could keep multiple shopping lists for different stores and have the prices be different and not change the price on another list. Ie butter in one store is $3 in another its $5 but it will change the price in the other list. Hope that makes sense. But that is nit picking there is no other app like this!

This app is amazing. I simply can't say it enough. There is a lot of time to be spent importing recipes, but once you get it organized it's going to save time and a lot of money. It will help stop from buying unnecessary items at the store. I absolutely love that it creates a shopping list for you and gives you the option to remove items before your list is saved, and instead of duplicating items for your grocery list fp just increases the amount.

Love this app but not in love with the newest update. The new grocery list is my least favorite. How am I supposed to add groceries for a list not yet listed? I need a general add button, not one for each grocery category. Thanks!

Wasted my Money. The website is slow and buggy, Linking my Google account screwed up the meal planner and I have not been able to find the secret to making the developer answer an email. I paid for the app and they still won't answer me. Use Paprika for recipes and Out Of Milk for groceries and pantry and forget this piece of garbage.

I rarely pay for apps but did here to show support. I've managed weekends of huge cooking efforts for a few years using this app in addition to just plain browsing recipe sites. Thank you for a great app .. can't get anything but better. You guys are awesome.

Couldn't function without this one. Makes meal planning simple to organize and shop for the necessary ingredients. My only complaint is the online version is VERY slow to respond and seems to have many bugs in it. Takes multiple attempts to get data entered to actually stick.

I was very initially very happy with this product, especially the feature of being able to input a recipe and then add ingredients to a shopping list, which then remembered recipes/food items for future use. Also there was a import recipes function where you could pull recipes from any website online. Where this app went horribly wrong was when they asked us to update the app, but then pulled the dick move of making us pay to go PRO in order to continue syncing the app between our devices. I figured the £2.80 was worth the price so I begrudgingly paid it only to find that you have to pay the same on each device if you want to sync them between family groups. Not cool! We will be deleting this app as soon as we find a way to try and store the info that we'll lose (100s of recipes entered over many hours). Thanks for nothing!!

Loved this app, used it for a couple of years, even rode out the server issue. Now you have killed one of the key tools - I have the regular version loaded with pro added on for both my devices, but I am still being forced to sign in when I swap. You had one of the best apps out there for recipe shopping combo, why did you kill it?? P.S. your support email address bounced back.

Here are a couple of suggestions: (1) Bring back the cooking temperature field. (2) Add fields for basic nutrition information (calories, fat grams, carb grams, protein grams) (3) provide the capability to generate a PDF of a recipe, meal plan, grocery list, inventory, etc.

Since updating and purchasing pro old account doesn't work. Password had been reset many times... still does not allow log in. Emailed support numerous times with no response.

I've been using this for a week, and it has been a life saver at the grocery store. Love the sync feature since I do my planning on my tablet but prefer to take my android with me into the store. This keeps me organized with 3 kids while shopping. Thanks Dev, spreading the word about this app :-)

This app has lots of potential. I keep hoping it's going to work right and consistently. Have been using it for a couple years. Upgrade forced on me today and lost all my recipe data and shopping lists. Aaargh.

I've been looking for a meal planner/grocery shopping app like this for a long time. This has everything I want - sortable categories in the grocery list, cloud sync, and a calendar feed. Thank you so much for this delightful app!

I spent a ton of time entering recipes. They kept promising it'd get better. Company responds 90% of the time in the app store. 25% at their support email. And 0% actually fixing the problems. It was worth the few dollars I spent on the app but not the times spent at the grocery store having to remember what I had entered before because the sync didn't work and my groceries weren't on there. Goodbye foodplannerapp.

I am ecstatic about this app!!! I can enter everything online and it shows up on my app. I have not been online yet but if all the features are there that are on the app this will rock

Use it everyday! So easy to use and customize to suit my needs. Looking forward to seeing the nutritional info update coming soon!

I paid for it and it won't open, I want refund please.

First, the online version is pathetic. Secondly, I deleted and reinstalled the app today. I always sync and force backup. I login after the reinstall, only to find all of the recipe books that I created are GONE. This is the glitchiest, most poorly designed app that I've seen in a long while. Not only did you roll it out without thorough testing, apparently, but you're CHARGING for it. I'm really glad I didn't delete my other recipe managing app.
