Not yet familiar with it, going through learning process, don't understand the match case, doesn't make sense to me but it is better than some of the others I have tried. I gave 5 stars because it has more options than most of the other apps.

What, I have to copy/paste a hunk of text into one of the input fields? For God's sake, grep is a native app on Linux, which Android is built on, and it knows how to open and search an arbitrary number of files. I'm looking for a text string and I don't know what file it's in. It would appear that this app doesn't even attempt to do that, which means it's grep in the proverbial pig's eye.

This is a one of kind app. It's indispensable for website work. It can do a RegEx find and replace across multiple files! While this is a common feature in desktop text editors, it is somehow totally neglected on Android. About once a year, I would scan the Play Store looking for a solution. I somehow missed this app until June 2017. At last, a found one! Be aware there is a bug that removes the last line of the text files on output. The developer said he thought this would be an easy fix, so go ahead and download the app. I'm sure the solution is imminent.
