Fjorden Rundt

En cykeltur rundt omkring Ringkøbing Fjord er en helt fantastisk oplevelse. Turen er ideel for alle
og er en fantastisk oplevelse for naturelskere og cykelentusiaster, for familier med børn eller
motionister – ja alle kan nyde den afvekslende natur.
Ringkøbing-Skjern kommune har derfor gennem de seneste år, sat meget fokus på infrastrukturen
og cykeloplevelsen på ruten fjorden rundt og kommunen arbejder målrettet mod at blive den
cyklende turistkommune og øge cykelturismen i Vestjylland.
Kommunen har allerede anlagt nye stistrækninger på turen omkring fjorden, med bl.a. en natursti
fra Bork Havn og til Skjern å, og også i de kommende år vil stinettet blive udbygget med sti over
Bagges Dæmning, sti mellem Stauning og Velling og langs Sdr. Klitvej.
Arbejdet med nye stier kombineres med, at der arbejdes for både at udbygge og samle de digitale og
trykte informationsplatforme og udbygge skilteinformationerne, således at disse kan tilgås både
inden cykelturen og under rejsen – ude på turen og i naturen.
