Calendar Droid is a calendar application that works with all the calendars on your device (such as Google Calendar, Exchange, Facebook, Birthdays, etc.)
The philosophy behind this app is a calendar that is easy to use, clean, intuitive, and highly customizable.

Remember: You have to synchronize the calendars to your device for them to show up.
PERMISSIONS:
• READ CONTACT DATA
If you have any guests (or attendees) on an event and you have that person in your contacts the app will read information from that contact and show it when viewing an event. The contact picture will show up and then clicked will take you to the default "contact clicked" scenario. I know this permission looks bad together with internet access but I do not store nor send any contact info. Only contacts that are guests to viewed events are read by the program.

This should be obvious. Read the description again and see if you can spot what this is used for ;)
• ADD OR MODIFY CALENDAR EVENTS AND SEND EMAIL TO GUESTS
Again, this should be obvious. Calendar Droid needs to change your calendar events. Sending emails to guests is done when putting email addresses in the "guest" box when creating an event.
• WAKE LOCK
Used by the widget. This actually saves battery since the widget does not wake up the phone when it has the screen off. The wake lock is only used to keep the phone alive during updates. The update interval is controller by "alarms".
• READ SYNC SETTINGS
Use to read which calendars that are synchronized to the device.
• GET ACCOUNTS
Used to find accounts with calendars so they can be selected to be synchronized.
• MANAGE ACCOUNTS
Used to manage the synchronize settings for calendars under a account.

Perhaps the best calendar i have ever used. Had an issue with colors and Alexander answered my email in a couple of hours and everything was resolved. Highly recomended !!!!

Love it. Great in every way for my needs. Widget only available for tablet. It would be excellant to have one for my phone. A full calendar and agenda widget would make it perfect and 5 stars from me.

Looks great and seems to work well. However I don't seem to have the option to add a widget. I have a 7inch Acer a100 tab. Would love a full sized month view widget.

Works terrible it added the same event on multiple dates. Also added random numbers to the top right corner of some dates. Several other issues too. Wish I had never bought this. I'm unistalling this now.

Calendar apps that I've found that will nicely display what you have scheduled on each day in month view & not require you to open each day to figure out what's going on that day.

I love the look of the calendar, but when I enter an event into it, it doesn't sync that event to my Google calendar. What's the point of scheduling events when I can't even sync to my Google cal? I purchased this calendar & am disappointed. Went back to Business Calendar, at least it works..

I love the tweaks the developer made to the stock Android calendar app. Makes it much more functional. I'm like what other reviewers have said, you can make add event repeat every other week. I don't like how overlapping events are displayed in the weekly calendar, but other than that excellent app.

Using on a Nexus 4. Much nicer interface than Google calendar. Month view names the events (yay!), while the G calendar month view just displays color blocks (boo!). Syncs smoothly with my G calendar. Very pleased with this app.

In the description it says bi weekly occurrence. This option does not exist. This would be an OK app if they would just not say it has options that it clearly does not have. The biweekly function is painfully important to me. In the description it says the option is available, and it clearly is not. I don't appreciate the deception

This was a super app, but the most recent update won't even start on honeycomb, works on gingerbread. Very disappointed I rely on this.
