RecForge II - Audio Recorder

I love this app. I was looking for a simple straight forward audio recording app that would allow me to stop and start my recordings and continue saving them. I also need the capability to edit my work as I go. I could not find a simple audio recording app with these few requirements until now. I'm very happy with Recforge! I just finished recording, editing, and sending out 10 hour-long sound files to my patients. It went smoothly, and the sound quality is good. It also converted them to mp3 files without any hassle. I'm not a tech wizard, so I really appreciate the ease of use. I haven't tried all of the other capabilities within the app, but the free version has quite a bit to play with yet.

I tried to record via my micro USB port but this app doesn't detect it. Garbage app that puts recordings over 3 min. behind a paywall. Poor user interface but not the worst I've seen. Close to the worst functionality I have seen since this cannot even detct external recording devices.

Fairly easy to learn how to use. The available settings are more complex than some apps so you have a lot of options but you have to learn how to access them and what to do with them. The only complaint have are one, using MP3 at 44 gigahertz there is a lot of background noise I don't see a way to cancel that out. My question to the developers or anybody else you knows is if I buy the pro version will I have a simple way to remove background noise? Or even just not recorded in the first place? Solve that problem and this would be my favorite recording app.

Brilliant! Even better than the previous version. And I thought that was unbeatable! Now supports opus. Great support from the developer as well. One of my favourite apps.

There's no way to set mic gain. Recforge lite can do this. Also 3 minutes are useless

I have installed this app..But I can't open it.. This app is not working. So I'm gonna uninstall it.

One of the best application i ever use in my life......... It can even record very small amount of sound at from a large distance......... From my side this application is 5 star application

Recording Forge 1 is a solid app and takes up only 5mb of space. Recording Forge II may be much better but takes up 20mb of space and the adds are extremely intrusive. App developers must get a return on their labours but for me the prominence of the add bar is too distracting. Stick to RF I

This app has ruined the day of work for 2 people!!! It recorded short samples really well but had terible recorning for main long recording. Unusable sound quality

Tried to play a x.wav file. error message: "recforge failed ... player initialization failed." second try. purchased and installed new version. SAME PROBLEM. what's the problem? will this EVER be fixed? before or after my refund/uninstall?

1 fault of this app: On "pause" state the app drain and use the battery while it shouldnt. except this issue its works perfects! i wish this issue will be fixed.

How to merge tracks? Could you please tell me? This is excellent for converting sound files so i gotta give u five stars just fir that, but every other feature to me seems very unergonomic, difficult to use, and not good for music because there is no breakup of timeline/ tempo you know metronome. Another thing occurred to me since this is such an awesome converter, couldnt one just record in wav with unlimited time, and then just convert the recorded file to mp3 or any of the other options you offer? Lol just a jab at the genius complaining about the time limit. HELLOOOO! Sometimes i wonder if people can even read. A response tho, as to the merging of files would be appreciated, as you can see i upped my rating to 5 instead of trying to take you hostage with a bad rating.

I like simple stereo recording. This does it very well with onboard mic.s. .Great customer feedback. Wish someone would do a video app with stereo!

I searched for best app and used many apps but Finally I found an excellent App for Recording Editing and Publishing at one place with good feautures​ and easy interface.

Good app, works wonderfully. However I can't get it to save the files to SD card on my Galaxy S5.

works well would be nice to have an equalizer built into it.I also found that my samsung S5 records in sterio using the mic and speaker build in the phone.Remember to set the phone to record in sterio :-)
