About Expense Tracker
Expense Tracker is the easiest free application by which you can track your expenses in a verity of ways.
Whenever an expense takes place, just open Expense Tracker and record it in no time.
Later on, view your expenses grouped and filtered anyway you want.
It allows you to spot your spending at any given time, in a daily, monthly, or yearly views:
In Day View: you can view your expenses today, yesterday, or any day.
In Month View: you can view your expenses this month, last month, or any month.
In Year View: you can view your expenses this year, last year, or any given year since you started using Expense Tracker.
If you forgot to record any spent money, no worries, you can save it when you remember with a past date.
If you want to record coming spending, you can also save your expected expense with a future date.
Expense Tracker is flexible enough to allow you to edit your saved expenses or even delete them.
Unlike most of other expense managers, Expense Tracker is not tied to predefined set of expense categories (spending types), but it allows you to create your own categories the way you want as single separated categories or as parent category and child categories. (One level and two levels)
You can assign expenses to Categories, like: Home, Transportation, Medical … etc.
You can create one main category (Example: creating category: Car) and assign car expenses to it.
You can also create a parent category with some child categories (Example: parent category: Medical, having subcategories: Medicine, Doctor Visits … etc.).
That level of flexibility and customization gives you more detailed view over your spending.
Another unique feature of this money manager is that it allows you to assign your expenses to specific family member (i.e. when you buy a shirt and assign it to category you named: cloths, you can also assign it to your son, also you can assign a specific vitamin that you buy for your wife to her … etc.).
Expenses like car gas or food are not suitable for this type of assignments as it is general, so you leave it assigned to unspecific family member.
Assigning family member to expenses takes you to a whole new dimension of money tracking that you will only experience with Expense Tracker.

Seems good so far. I like that it is simple and I can track all expenses associated with my son and that's all that I want to track with the app. I don't have to link it to bank accounts and I can upload a picture (such as a receipt) and I can add notes (such as confirmation numbers). I can set up all my own Categories and Subcategories. Two things I haven't figured out how to do or if I can do them yet: 1) Change the default color to something other than orange. 2) Add and edit expenses from my desktop computer (sometimes the receipt copies will be scanned in rather than photographed). 3) It has a backup feature but I really want to be able to trust it before I enter all my data... I need to know how the data will export in case the app is no longer supported in the future or I want to import the data to another program/app.
