Only fancy ubers allowed at airport so they don't burger going at all and thus unavailable

You know something is trash when you can finish a whole Madden game with 5 min quarters before your cab gets here.

The drivers are rude. The dispatch is rude. If you call their number to report, the dispatch picks up and just takes your complaint reluctantly. And that's the end of it.

Horrible company that allows drivers to hold your reservation forever untill they cancel. You will seriously be booked and canceled 5 times at least in one booking. Some drivers will even cancel your entire booking all together so u have to log back in and request a new trip, and you wont know this unless you are constantly refreshing..PEOPLE PLEASE DOWNLOAD UBER AND LYFT AND SHOW THESE SCUM BAGS WE WONT SETTLE FOR LESS

I've been able to use the app without problems. Two things need improvement. 1. the address feature could be made less clunky. 2. The app keeps reading your GPS location long after you're done with it, so it guzzles a lot of battery. You should "force stop" the app after your cab arrives, to save battery.

The app is not bad, although it has trouble finding a lot of addresses. The drivers on the other hand... I constantly have drivers accept my booking, only to drop it a few minutes later. Too often, the cab which accepts the booking is several miles away (from downtown Boston, I'm had drivers in East Boston and Brookline accept my bookings).

Had a 7am flight and neared a cab cab for 4:30/5am and scheduled it. It never showed! So happy I had a back up plan. Hate using uber, but had to.

You might think that a map tracker to tell you where your cab is would prevent drivers from canceling while they're en route to pick you up, but it doesn't. Cabs in Boston are awful, Metro is no exception, and every time the cab drivers wonder why people are flocking to Uber and Lyft I just laugh in their faces

App wouldn't accept Boston Airport as a destination. I came from out of town and I didn't memorize the address of the airport before my trip.

Booked a cab at 12 for a 1PM pickup. Left the drop off destination blank as the app couldn't locate my destination(this field is marked as optional). Got a call at 1:02PM just to confirm my location and destination. I told dispatch my destination and they told me a cab was on my way. At 1:35PM I called another taxi service and was picked up within 5 minutes by the other service.

Now it always tells me to call! Like the cab service, though.

Have been using on weekly basis for about a year and haven't had any problems

Been trying to use app. Won't allow booking in my area of boston...jamaica plain...end up having to call for cab and listening to queue message on how great app is......put in complaint.....but....silence......

The app worked for me last year, now it always tells me I have to call. I'm giving up on Metro Cab. Maybe I should just try Uber.

Everytime I try to book a cab, no matter where I am it says I must call to book a cab and that app use is not allowed in this area. Everywhere. I. Go. Horrible app. I wouldn't recommend it.

Way too many clicks to put in my current address as the starting location. And you want an *address* for the airport? Why do I have to look that up for you?

This looks like an app from the 90s. Couldn't trust that it would actually work and call a cab. Received no ETA.

I'm not sure what's up with the other reviews, but so far I'm loving this app. I live in Eastie where it's often hard to get a cab to take me to, let alone pick me up from, but both times I've used this app, the driver has been on time, actually a few minutes early! The first time I scheduled a cab a day in advance. The second time, I scheduled for ASAP pickup. ASAP arrived in about 15 minutes! In Eastie! I was shocked and happy! The app may not be the best app ever, but it gets the job done.

This company deserves negative 5 stars! I waited for almost an hour for a cab that never showed for one. Two I waited for a cab hailed by this crappy app that does not get the addresses right, for the driver to look at me and pick someone else up. After calling and complaining 4 times (being hung up on twice) I got the "manager" who told be basically 'who cares'. I have deleted the app and will never use this company and I will also let the 14 companies I communicate with on a regular basis not to use them.

I hate taking cabs and I pretty much only use them as a last resort, like when I have to be at the airport at 5 a.m. However, the Metro Cab app took a lot of the experience. I was able to book my cab using the app the day before, and then the following morning, I was able to actually track the cab that was picking me up on a real-time map. Those early morning trips are usually nerve-racking when you're unsure if the driver forgot about your booking, but the app took the anxiety out of it completely. The app also stores the cab ID number - helpful if you left an item in the cab or need to register a complaint later.

If you dont want a cab but enjoy the frustration behind finding one, this apps for you.

Tracker barely worked and after waiting ten minutes for my cab, got a notification that trip was cancelled out of nowhere. Just called instead and uninstalled app.

You know there's a problem with your taxi app when you can't specify the Logan International Airport (or local road) as a pickup location. It kept telling me I had entered an incorrect address, even though it was autofilled by the application. Also, this app runs in fullscreen so you can't even check the time. This app was unusable for me.

Not possible to enter international phone numbers thus not able to book a cab

They'll show up, but not to the right address. Not the first one to talk to the cab? Gone. Might as well wait and flag one down, even if you're waiting for a van.
