TAXI BOOKING FEATURES:
• Request a taxi cab right now, or select a future date and time for pick-up.
• Don’t know your location? – Send the taxi to your current GPS position.
• You can also tap a location on a map, or type in a pick-up address.
• Save a pick-up address as a favorite, and use it for future bookings.
• Select booking options for your cab (wheelchair accessible, pet-friendly,etc.)
• Get a fare estimate based on map distance between pickup and destination.
• Send additional info the driver – type a message, up to 255 characters.
• A confirmation message lets you know your booking request was accepted.
• Push notifications alert you when your cab is on the way, and when it has arrived.
• Push notification alerts you if your cab is late. You can choose to keep waiting or cancel the booking.

Booked a cab in advance for an early morning flight. It never showed. Called dispatch and they said I was using an old version of the app and they never got my booking despite the app telling me the booking was confirmed. Almost missed my flight! Make sure your app is up to date at the least, better yet, just don't use it. The driver who picked me up didn't even get out of his car to open the trunk for me despite seeing me carrying luggage. He was also very unfriendly. I hope Uber comes to town soon! A little competition will sort these issues out in no time!

The reason I downloaded this app is because I'm too goddamn poor to have cell service. If I could use my phone to verify an account, why the hell wouldn't I have just called a cab using said phone instead of using this app?! Useless.

It won't recognise my address and I live right in town. It keeps dropping my pin in Texas if I type in my address, and if I let the app find me, it says invalid address. Boo.

Three times I tracked them to my location and saw them pick up someone else who flagged them down. Didn't even receive a text to tell me it had been cancelled. Won't be going with them again.

Works perfectly. Did the ultimate test, used it on NewYears day at 2am. Guy on phone at same party was still on hold when my cab arrived he was still caller #14 waiting in line. App was instant booking. Tracked driver's progress in real-time GPS. I was located in a lane-way house, normally a difficult find for most drivers but the GPS function made it extra easy for driver to locate us. I guess the paranoia of Uber is forcing these excellent app developments in response. Good work Kelowna Cabs.
