Update: able to switch from 2G to 3G only if 3G sim is in sim1 slot. It will not change network settings for sim2. -------------------------------------- Old update: Suddenly stopped working on moto g after 3 weeks. Not able to switch from GSM to WCDMA. Please fix this soon.

Forcing 3G is a must with my carrier. Update: Moto G recently upgraded to 4.4.4 and app throwing a permission denial error.

Not not not work in my Samsung galaxy grand 2 version 4.3 jellybean I hated this app and those who Samsung users dont download in this worst app only type on keypad the people where worst who make the app ......... Please. ........ dont........ download. .......... The ........ worst......... application........

Use this app on Xiaomi Mi max, after updating to nougat, this app always give me error. Please fix

It says this application is not supported on this device when tried to open phone testing what should i do plz suggest

This is what I was looking for . my phone doesn't has option for selecting 3g only on preferred networks. This app/shortcut is very much helpful to me.

The app was great for switching between 2G and 3G, but stopped working after lollipop update. Developers, please update the app.

I have moto g and its internet is same speed for both 3g n 2g.But I don't feel any difference.Its like same speed download for both.But its good apps

Since I updated to Android 5.1, this no longer works. Now I can't force my phone to stay on 4G only like before :(

It's not working in lollipop software

Hi i tried using it on my Moto G 2nd generation(android 5.0.2) and this is what i got from it... Permission Denial: starting Intent { act=android.intent.action.MAIN cmp=com.android.settings/.TestingSettings } from ProcessRecord{2aa3a5bc 11343:diewland.testing.phone/ u0a126} (pid=11343, uid=10126) not exported from uid 1000 So please help me.

Works for me even after update to 4.4.4. Those who are using both sims, go to sim settings, double check mobile networks, and the preferred network settings. EDIT: Updated to 5.0.2 and the app doesn't work. However, you can access the menu by directly dialling from the stock dial pad. You don't need to press the 'call' button after pressing the characters/numbers - the menu appears automatically.

This soft is not working...in my moto g2 lollypop 5.0 so plz guy's solve the problem

The dialer code works, but the app does not, if you could get it working that would be great. If you need additional details I can email the error that the app shows (something about permission denial.)

Updated my moto g to 5.0.2 and now the app does not work...hope you bring out a update to make it compatible sooner

Handy shortcut... Device compatibility can definitely not be ensured, however it did work, now it doesn't for some reason.

This app is throwing error on my moto g after i got the lollipop update. Please update it, as we cant use 3g without this

Please update the app for lollipop on moto g1 & g2...would give 5 stars if it works on moto g1 & g2 for lollipop version....

Looks like the new update completely disables access to the menu. (XT1053/gsm unlocked version.) If you could fix it that'd be great, but I don't expect that it's something that could easily be fixed.

Nice app.but not working on lolipop so i have given it 4.

Since Android Lollipop update in Moto G (1st gen) this app no longer works. *#*#4636#*#* works but is too cumbersome to type all time

Used to work. After the lollipop update, its useless basically.

Used to work flawless on my moto G on 4.4.4, but gives an error on 5.0.2, that's why had to take a star away.

Shows an error which goes something like "permission denial starting intent..." And ends with "not exported from uid"

It's not working to my moto g2 but when I dialler number it's working but app not work.

Had tiresome experience with my moto g as it used to lose its mind frequently in staying in 3G networks. It's all fixed. Although these fixes are rather cosmetic than a permanent one, worth trying. Highly recommended

I kept having problems with my Tmobile phone switching from gsm/lte to gsm/lte/cdma after a reboot which was quite the pain. This app spares me from dialing the code to access the network configuration. Good job!
