Quick Installation Guide
- Install Desnav from Google Play
- Launch Desnav Navigation
- Some devices will ask that you choose the installation folder
- Wait for Desnav to complete downloading and installing the necessary data files, this step might take longer depending on your Internet speed..
- Choose the language (for the application) and the speaker (voice guidance) that you want to be installed into Desnav
- In the "Serial Numbers" menu, click on the "+" button
- Enter your purchased serial number/s or alternatively click on one of the trial licenses that are limited to 7 days
- After successfully activating your license, the "Download" menu will automatically open
- Select the map/s that you want to install (you can only install maps that have a serial number activated for that particular map)
- Click on the "Refresh" button in the bottom-right corner to start downloading the map/s and complete the installation
- Close the "Download" menu and start using Desnav Navigation once the installation has completed
* Each Desnav license is licensed to one device. Licenses cannot be shared with multiple devices nor are the licenses transferrable to other devices.

A total waste of time to download the app .Downloaded the german map and tried navigating to Duesseldorf Airport ---... no chance ! Am deletig it and astaying with one of the for ever free nav apps that is much simpler to use and reliable .

Good program but one thing you have to know. Read all the print. God forbid you should loose your phone or it be stolen. Instead of being able to use the license you paid for on your new phone Desnav makes you now purchase a new license. Absolute rip off. I purchased this for me and my girlfriend. I had my phone stolen l talked to Desnav they basically said too bad. This is the only program I've purchased through Google play that does this. Do yourself a favor and find another program.

I like the programm a lot. I think it is a decent kind of software working very well with a lot of functionalities. That my maps are on my phone was one of the reasons I bought two licenses for two different phone. However their service is not on the same level as the programm. - map updates take a long time (I'm having a different paid GPS programm with also locally installed maps - same price level - and here I get more frequent updates) - 2 weeks agoo I ran the programm to get to a place and got the notice that the activiation code was not working. Lucky I got the second programm to drive me to my spot. I took a ticket from their website with the question why my code didn't work anymore. I got a nice reply the next day (that part of the service is quite OK) So after several reply I 'got a nice mail with the my logins of that license key and that was it. I must been using a hacked key. I wouldn't have bought to license keys if would use a hacked key anyway. I would have used it from the start I guess. Anyway I used it on the same phone as I initially bought the programm for. So I didn't tried to install it on another phone (their terms of agreement doesn't allow it).

I paid a fortune for the South African map package but had endless trouble downloading. Now the site claims that the license key is no longer valid. Despite repeated attempts to reach the Navteq SA office by phone I have not once had a call answered. Don't waste your money.

This doesn't reactivate when you upgrade your firmware, and they essentially call you a liar when you try to get help. Steer well clear of this.

Please developers, give us a fair go on trial periods. 7 days is insufficient and I may only have time to try the GPS twice in this time, which is not enough to evaluate. At least 20 - 30 days is more practical and you may get more converts to the paid version. There are a couple of hefty downloads and you will need wi-fi to save data charges, almost 300mb download including maps. Unfortunately, my L9 wont allow save to SD card, so it all goes onto internal memory. The menu is simple and very well laid out and the voices are clear & concise. in the short time I have to evaluate this software, I would give it the thumbs up and is a far better choice than Google Navigation, Sygic, Waze, Navfree, Be-On-Road and I have tried them all, plus others. Recommend.

I have been looking for a great OFFLINE app and this is the best. Price is just rite. Maps are good and from time of purchase 9 hours later I had my key insted of the estimated 48 hrs. Just a note to desnav, give us more color options with the maps and better icons Highly recomend this app.

Missing/problems: 1. Emulate the route. 2. Battery life on S3 became flat within 30min! 3. Start-up SYNC - What the hell is this and why do I have to wait 5min for this? 4. Can not (X) SYNC message!!! 5. Downloading MAPS with WiFi does not work - DATA ONLY :( 6. Destination Address without street, impossible! 7. Using the PC-Installer still does not use the maps downloaded to card. (I moved and had to restart the device a couple of times before it recognized the ZA (150+MB) map!!! So, pretty poor if you look at the problems... My rating - 2/5
