Music Folder Player Full for Android
My favorite music player so far, what's missing is m4a support(it does find the files and read the metadata, but it won't play them) and it would be nice if you could add a folder containing subfolders to a playlist, having to select each one individually is a bit tedious. Otherwise fantastic. /edit Ability to add subfolders to playlist was added. A tiny complaint i have is that the widget in the pulldown menu has the next song button right next to the exit button. So i close the player on accident quite often.
This app is amazing. You can do anything you want when it comes to music I just wish that there would be more color themes
Best music folder player now yet.
Literally the only sane player on play store.
Some features are not obvious. I like ignoring album art because it takes up space on the screen. Excellent small/big jumps. I only miss the playlist feature. First app to deal with music and podcast mp3's properly. This doesn't try to look pretty; it just plain works.
Its really hard to find a good music player.. This one is the best to find. I love the bluetooth protocol.but please add LAN and wifi support and it will be the ultimate player
I am learning a language with the help of this app and my cell phone. I find no other app as useful as this one for that purpose and many other purposes. A responsive developer and an app in active development and improvement makes this an excellent app.
Brilliant app! It's the only one that does this, but more than that, it keeps getting better. The dev does updates in small safe increments, and doesn't mess it up. Perfect for my language lessons. Really like the buttons configurability. I donated for the pro version and again recently for 5 star behavior. Thanks!
Great app, perfect for playing my already organized music directories. Simple, and I enjoyed it so much I bought the full version for just $2. Plays my music, limited permissions, no bandwidth access, no ads, perfect. Good job!
finally! an app that simply let's me play from my folders that i made (and doesn't try to re-index). HIGHLY functional. no B.S. clean and easy with plenty of options, interface, eq, etc.. IF you want them. if you tend to assemble folders on your own, this is ideal.
This is a really solid music player. Well worth the price for removing adds. Way better than my phones pre-installed music player.
The BEST app, in my opinion, if you want to group your songs and play them by folders.
I would like to be able to change songs with my headphones.(volume buttons) 2 dollars for amazing folder player. Automatically switches to next album at the end.
Excellent app. On our overnight drives I can swap easily between music and long audio books, picking up where I left off.
I love the option to speed up the audio/podcast. It's such a time saver :)
Very puzzled... Looking for the next track button? Anyone? Bueller?
Fantastic app. Best one I've tried. I love the car mode.
Good but ugly interface and basic
Please add repeat button.
Amazing program... Wish it supported chromecast
Neat and nice app.
Perfect for audiobooks
Great software
This is by far my favorite and most used app. Love playing by folders rather than albums and tags.
the app has started crashing upon processing more than 2 gb music folder. Problems faced in two handsets, meizu m2 note, and lenovo vibe p1m. The player crashes without any obvious reasons, developers, please solve this.
I kept trying other apps but always came back to this one. Eventually paid for full version as it's so worth it and want to sort dev. Great work thank you!
I wanted to give it 10 stars! Now... Devs from other music players should benchmark this one. I always support devs who come up with great applications like this. As of this writing, no other music players can match.
Great app! Just what I needed for playing from my microsd. Hint for future development: make widget more customisable. Would love to have transparent background! Thanks. Very well spent $2.
Finally has internal playlist management. Now if only it had an option to dynamically alter the volume for each song to keep a similar volume so I wouldn't have to change volume manually when a song has a lower or higher volume than the last one.
I’m old. Having cut my technology teeth on UNIX, DOS and then Windows I find myself trying to learn new tricks. I refuse to touch @pples; and, even I’ve learned that Windows was left standing on the platform when the mobility train pulled out. Stick a fork in it. I’ve been trying to get comfortable with Android. It’s been a mixed bag. I only went so far with my Nexus 7; now, I’m on an NVIDIA Shield. For audio, I tried a few but ended up with “Music Folder Player.” It feels familiar. I was about to admit my lack of skills and subsequent dissatisfaction when I found the answer in a FAQ. Holy Mother of Pearl! You folks have gotten really slick at using minimal space. Learning that, encourages me to perhaps figure out how to link this thing to my vehicle radio. I know it will, just haven’t tried it. So you get an extra “attaboy” for making it where an old fart can figure it out. Good App. Think I'll stick it on my phone too.
I have had the free version installed previously, and loved it so much I purchased the full version. This was actually a good while ago, but I forgot to write the revised review. IMO, this is the best music player on the android market; works flawlessly both on my Asus tablet, and on my older Galaxy S3 with over 7 Gigs worth of tunes - both off the phone's memory and the microSD add-on. App's features are well designed, intuitive, and work perfectly. It's a keeper!
Nearly everything I could wish for in a music player. Fast, easy, great OGG/FLAC support, and a clean interface. Browsing through folders is much more convenient than having to use tags. My only wish left is for Chromecast support in a future version. But it's not a big miss as it works perfectly with Bluetooth.
Best. Music. App. If like me you have an extensive music library all personally catalogued on your pc in bespoke folders made by your good self, don't let Apple or Google try to tell you how to listen to your music "album, artist, genre..." I listen to mine by folder. And this app caters precisely for that. Thanks guys, epic app. Nuff said
Wow simple and straight foward it plays my folders the way they are.big up to the simple creation.tried a free version within 10min i was back for full versoin
The most used app on my phone. Works flawlessly. Only feature id like to see is a play next button or add to queue for individual tracks. Other than that its perfect!!
Easy to create playlists and it resumes where you leave off in each folder which is great as an audio book listener.
Between other qualities this app connects very fast with my car system so I can listen to my favorite music!
Great app. Lots of convenience features like resuming play where u left off. Great for playing lists of podcast files in order.
Loved it since the day one. Wish it keeps the small app size and not take much system resources like others.

A life saver! No longer do I have to worry about Play Music and its media library hassles and crashing when I can just play all the MP3s in a folder, just like I do on my PC! EDIT: The widget seems to have been removed from the program at some update :( EDIT: It is only unavailable when the program is moved to SD card.
