CardBoard Index Cards for Android
The options are a bit confusing... I was working on a project, and now I can't read any of my cards after pressing "open board" and then, "types"! It just displays blank cards with the number of how many cards were in that colored set, like " white (12)" but when I click or zoom on the card, there's no text to read or edit anymore. How can I get the text from my cards back??? I really hope my work wasn't deleted! :( I tried to fix, but nothing seems to work. Plz help, and I will give 5 stars!
Very handy for keeping track of my spells and feats in D&D. Has a few iffy design choices with the UI, but nothing that can't be worked around.
... But, why does it sometimes open up with my custom-sorted board neatly resorted into columns by Type/Color?
It's clunky, but if you can get past the initial confusion it could be really helpful.
So far it is damned near perfect for my needs. I would like it to generate a second linked card to the original card when the first one gets filled.
I use it to keep a catalogue of the books I've read and want to read, was OK until now I seem to have lost most of the icons at bottom of page incl. the lock/unlock button and the sort title at the bottom of the page, plus app keeps crashing.
Not entirely intuitive, and a tutorial somewhere online would be quite helpful. Still trying to figure the features out.
Love it so useful and would be great if it could sync across devices and would be happy to pay for the feature. Thank you for creating such a great app.
Works great for outlining your novel or short story. Does exactly what is says it'll do.
It's the best available for free but can be much more creative and user friendly.
A bit difficult to navigate, but very helpful
Absolutely love this app! I just spent the past 4 hours playing with it!!!! thank you so much. No more crossing out, relabelling and looking for specific colours of cards! If I could give 10 stars I would.
Tried this app and it was amazing for what I intended, but after almost an hour creating a huge board, all the work was lost after I saved it...shame
It does exactly what I want it to do;I use it as a story board. Amazingly detailed, with many options. The only thing I would like to see is font choices.
I've thrown down several cards, arranged and edited them. Everything seems to work well and is intuitive. Need to test export options tho. Using on Note3 and has less jank than Celtx. Thanks for the free great tool!
Brilliant for plot or concept development.
I really like this app. So far I'm learning how to take notes on it and it seems to be working well.
Took me a bit to figure out how to use it but once accomplished that I have been pleasantly surprised how well it works. Does everything I was looking to do and more. Thanks.
On my GS5, the app skips around a lot, and I don't particularly care for the UI.
Great app, older skin only downside
I'm writing a screenplay and this just saved me $100.

Simple and easy to use. Just what I was looking for. Thanks for a great app.
Does what it says read. Learn the legend and this app will save trees. Great job
Can you make this app sync between devices i have it on my android tablet and phone have to enter details on each device
It's a great app.
Need to click 100 times on the card before the edit screen opens. Not fluid enough for a good user experience. It's still the best app of the kind I could find for android but unfortunately unusable on the oneplus2.
Fantastic!!! The PERFECT app!!!
Itself just saved me hours of typing. This is the only thing I had to actually type. And I had time for that. Alphabetized 100 plus movies in about an hour. Awesome
For such an amazing program' I find it so strange there isn't a"print" capability. Kudos on your creations. I am a forever client.
I can't give you more than 3 stars for a few reasons. I need to have mobile access to it with my phone, but a tablet is easier to use, when it's available. Until you add cloud support, I'll always be stuck with one device per project. Also, options work okay on a tablet, but are hard to negotiate on a phone. A menu, rather than every single feature being its own box, would work much better. Click "Cards" for all the ways to manipulate cards, click "Board" for all the ways to manage the board itself, etc.
Best of the android apps of this type that I've tried. Will give two more stars for better instructions and function to sync between tablet and PC. Happy to pay a few bob for the latter.

Lisa Galarza: I think the problem is what just happened to me. If CardBoard "stops" for any reason, the visuals are turned off. To get them back, go to Settings in the pop-up menu and choose a resolution. Start with the lowest setting! I am giving this three stars for cool graphics and brilliant concept. I am not giving it more stars because NOT intuitive and I can't devote the time it would apparently take to learn it.
1: Can you make this available on a Windows PC, and workable between personal devices? 2: Make the auto-arranging of new cards more user-friendly (so they appear where I want them to, when I create a new one. 3: can you make the pop up window of a card to be scrollable in each box for touch devices, please? If I enter more than there is space for visibly (like with a bluetooth keyboard) I can't scroll down inside the box without the keyboard. Makes it inconvenient for writing up or reviewing plot points, if I don't have a keyboard with me, for instance. Thanks!
Fine app. But autonumbering is needed also when you drag-replace cards. Otherwise new added card goes some random place. And pressing autonumber button everytime when we replace card is not useful.
Great app. I would give it five stars but I have not figured out all the bells and whistles.
Fantastic app for outlining stories. My only wish is more control over where new cards show up on board--other than that, this is the best app of its kind I've seen.
Good , but always crashes.

I wish it was easier to move cards around and didn't seem so random when having them arranged vertically. Only bogs down one you have around 30 cards. Still, wonderful when keeping track of ideas!
