Offline Translator is a freeware Android application which helps you to translate vocabulary using free offline dictionary files (therefore no roaming charges abroad)!
IMPORTANT: Please read the getting started instructions!

Please note that I work on this project in my free time only!
On some phones the app is unable to import the very large EN-DE and DE-EN dictionaries due to lack of memory.
In this case use the import via PC (http://dicticc.wiki-lab.net/pc).

New Search Technologie: ignores accents and Umlauts because they are difficult to enter with soft keyboard

I can't even download a dictionary, with all the email addresses i tried it's always telling me they'd be invalid, actually it's none starts

Not only is this app unable to download its own dictionary, and not only does the app instruct users to press a button that does not exist, but when you find the link to the dictionaries, it's not clickable and cannot be copied to the clipboard! No, I am not going to memorize a 50-character link and type it in the phone's browser manually!

Can not use app. Unable to get dictionary imported. Apparently I have to know how to read German (De) before I can use the app.
