Shutdown Start Remote

I am giving it 5 stars. However, i still cannot auto hide the app that shows up at pc startup. I have to do it manually. I did add the "hide" parameter after "jar" as instructed, but then windows says the 'name is invalid' and will not let me save the changes. Any help would be appreciated. NOTE: - I had to install Java on PC. - To make the start oprion work, I had to enable the 'Wake on Lan' settings on Bios. I also had to download the latest intel driver for my motherboard on the mobo website, and had to enable 'Magic Packet' too in Device Manager, Network Connection. - If you restart your router, this will change your IP, and the app will not work. You need to exit and restart the file on PC again, and reconnect. - To those who ask sleep mode. Hibernate and Sleep mode have only 1 difference. The first saves data on HDD, the second Saves data on RAM, and is slightly faster. So Using hibernate instead of sleep is almost the same.

Way too wonky. You have to install Java Runtime Environment and then open his .jar, then have it running in the background. Other universal remotes need a server program as well but they offer a ton more functionality and you don't have to install extra programs.

It doesn't work when your smartphone is connected to a different network. It will probably be useful for those who are in a large building with a shared network. Once I leave home and connect to another network (or even on LTE data), this app becomes useless.

Works very well. Easy to use. Easy to set up. 11/10. Would buy ad-free version again. Also, to the people who are too inept to set it up, don't write a review. A review is for reviewing the product.

Works as intended. Intuitive and easy to use. It would be great if you could add hostnames instead of just IPs, as I use no-ip to connect to my dynamic-ip PC

Little and easy program that does what it says! However, make sure you have JAVA installed on your computer, otherwise you cant use the PC companion program.

App worked perfectly before Windows 10 creators update. Now fails to find PC even with manual IP.

Works fantastic, just ran Java file and installed app. No bloatware on my pc and ads don't load on my app so all good in the hood.

This app did not work for my Windows 10 machine. Wake on Lan and Magic Packet are enabled but when I try to start the computer it returns a message saying "This app may not work for you. Be sure Wake on Lan and Magic Packet are enabled.

Does not work. Says no scanner....got one, says cannot find pc by ip address..... Waste of mb's

The app is great for starting the computer and sometimes shutting it down but half of the time it just says cannot find computer, then I go to start computer and it starts right up. Go back and it can't find it to shut it back down.

Works good on start-up but the shutdown feature doesn't work so well. It makes me reinstall the .jar file everytime.

Cannot pick up computer locally using IP for Shutdown. Still boots remotely

I can login to my pc over WAN using my external ip:portNo but with the app I can't specify the port number, I have also tried to scan the bar code with given from the .jar file yet no luck.
