Soon as I clicked countdown the app changed my white balance to a dirty white. Can't get it back now. Lenova yoga

Is really promising clapper but, missing alot features. Trouble on many device in landscape mode (bad resolution detection?)

DOES NOT CLAP. No audio. Worthless

Perfect feature set, loud 1khz tone, and quick simple operation. Love it!

Hey weirdly even on full volume seems kinda quiet maybe put gain/volume control in the settings ? That would really help. Also instead of fps lens..etc why not have the option to add more text like the title of the film or anything else. The choice would be nice ..

Super useful CYA app. Try using 1k tone instead of clap sound. Seems louder. This could be a lifesaver of an app if someone forgets something. If you need a real slate...go spend $40 on B&H and get a real one.

Great, but it could be even better. The settings icon top left is too big and the three other icons top right could come down in size a bit also. It would be good if the production title line allowed a larger font, didn't automatically capitalise, and didn't limit the number of characters, and if there were also spaces for director, producer and/or camera person to be listed - there is a lot of unused space at the bottom. It is unclear what Save and Load does with files, if anything - where do they go, whether the file storage location can be changed, what version of the clapperboard is saved, etc. A user manual would be helpful, at least to me. But with a few tweaks this could be a really excellent app. Good work, and many thanks.

App does not allow timing corrections to fix delayed Android audio playback. -> Not usable on my phone.

Take and shot are wrong way round. If you fix I will buy

The position of take and shot is reversed. They are not as shown in the sample pics

The Clapper sound occurs about 15 frames before the color of the clapper inverts. This makes it somewhat useless as a Clapperboard unless if you sync it up roughly 15 frames off to make sure it in sync. Also I don't understand why text can't take up more space in portrait mode when there's all this unused space. Add a feature that allows users to fix the sync (maybe a millisecond slider or FPS offset like 15/29.97 FPS offset) I imagine the sync issue might be a little diffrent based on the phone...

Please add "Keep screen on" and default orientation screen to be horizontal. Maybe also font size but is not really necessary. First two for me it is.

Simple to use and fits the job well. Although the interface could be better. Also it needs some way to calibrate. But overall its great!

If you need a simple, straightforward clapboard, this does the job. No clever animations; it just inverts the colors with a sharp snapping sound. For an amateur trying to synchronize footage from two sources it's just what I need. Bonus points for requiring absolutely no permissions. The "in-app purchase" just lets you send the author $1.35 if as a thank you; there is no functionality locked behind it.

I've tried about 6 and this is the best I've found. Awesome. If you have problems with the labels just reset in settings and it fixes it.

Easy to use. Great for amateurs like myself. Professionals will probably have just as much use for it.

Sorry for low rating but the automation does not work. Tested on Samsung Note 10 and HTC One X. Automation does not work on either. Suggestion. Add possibility to play an mp3 file after the clap. Delay from clap to start of mp3 should be customizable. I assume automation means auto increment of TAKE and that is not working. To play an mp3 is handy when recording music video so you don't have to have multiple devices to handle.

Text needs option to be made larger. Date display is fine but it would be good to have the time of day shown too. Very neat idea to have the 'Take' count automatically! Thanks to the developer for making the countdown period customisable and for providing landscape mode following my original review. Now updated from 3 to 4 stars :-)

Just one feedback: maybe the Clap sound should be louder or use a different frecuency sound, s.o that the Boom Mic will get it better. And also the automatization worked in the previous version, is not working anymore in this one. Above all, amazing.
