SportRegion Stuttgart

Die SportRegion Stuttgart e.V. wurde 1996 mit dem Ziel der Verbesserung der interkommunalen Zusammenarbeit auf dem Gebiet des Sports gegründet (siehe auch Geschichte der SportRegion Stuttgart). Heute gehören der SportRegion Stuttgart 50 Kommunen, 38 Sportfachverbände, sechs Sportkreise sowie der Olympiastützpunkt Stuttgart und der Verband Region Stuttgart an. The Stuttgart Region Sports Association was founded in 1996 with the aim of improving the inter-municipal cooperation in the field of sport (see also History of Sports Stuttgart region). Today the sport Stuttgart region has 50 municipalities, 38 sports associations, six sports channels, and the Olympic Training Center in Stuttgart and the Stuttgart Region.
