Easy xkcd for Android
Took far too long to load next comic
I love xkcd and I love this app. Great work.
No ads yes awesome
One of the best XKCD readers. Stands head and shoulders above a large pool of meh.
The app works as expected.
No previous/next buttons?
At last I've found a worthy xkcd app!! Thank you!
The offline features are amazing, it's a pretty good app
Does exactly what it says. It's easy xkcd.
This is the best xkcd reader.
Refined, intuitive, high performance
It's just the best
Great app.
Perfect!
Good
Not sure why anyone would ever use any other app to view xkcd content. To my mind this app is essentially the benchmark of doing something well. Has all the optional bits I might reasonably want (ie. Explain xkcd, what if etc.) And it all just works, presumably because because there's no unnecessary stuff built in to complicate the development.
This app works great! However, the favorite comic feature isn't fully functional.
Stop looking for a bad review and get the app already!
Best app I've found for xkcd so far.
Good coverage of most of the strips.
The interactive comics don't work, otherwise it's great
Clean look. Nice features
Awesome comic, awesome app
Güd
Szep munka!
Very Good for xkcd fans
Love the features this app has to offer, as well as the material design. 5 stars if the widget also gets a material design update. Don't really like that grey block. Edit: I like the Google apps widgets. Material design. Maybe the comic title in the top bar (bar has same colour as in app top bar), and have the title text open when clicking it, just like the in app popup?
Excellent app, excellent design. My only complaint is a minor one; when you press the back button, rather than take you to the previous comic you are taken to the comic list and I find this quite frustrating. A quick update and this app would be virtually perfect! REPLY: Absolutely, as long as it is in the app it would be awesome! Edit: App behavior has been very slow as of late and crashes quite a bit? Perhaps something is askew in the latest version of the app? Please look into this! I've used this app for an eternity and faced no hitches until now.
This app is great, the features make reading so much easier: night mode, access to the explain wiki, and even saving your spot after reading the latest make this the best app you can get.
Works really well for comics, however the "What if?" Doesn't work after 146. 147 and onwards I can't read in the app. Please help.
Excellent app. However, the 'View Transcript' doesn't seem to be working. Besides, that... Easily one of my most used apps. Thanks.
Man I've been addicted to this app! Feature requests that are going yo make this app infinitely better than others (you can include these in a paid version of the app): 1. Syncing across the devices. 2. Comics may be sorted by tags (e.g. I may want to search for all the comics with the black hat guy in it. I'm not sure if this is possible, but what if you could pick up these tags from the API of explainxkcd? I don't know man). Awesome job all in all.
Worked fine up to a point, but now it just shows a blank screen whenever I try to access it, and claims "no connection" even when I know I've got one. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and just get the same problem.
Oddly it breaks my phone - power restarts. Possibly a conflict with a Sony Xperia Xz Premium where built-in diags point to this app being problematic. Removed and all appears well for past 24 hours. Memory leak? In hindsight, and following an uninstall of this app the pesky phone did the same thing, so I'd say no connection. That being said the reboots were more frequent when installed but that could just be coincidence. Phone going back tomorrow, Chasing forums and appears to be a "thing" with the XVP which Sony know of since at least December 2016. I've never had any issues with this app' on other devices so will be going to a Oneplus 5! Score updated accordingly, keep up the good work :-)
Still the best xkcd viewer out there. Only wish some of the common options in the overflow were instead offered in the app bar or a bottom bar. Would be nice to have easier access to sharing and explainxkcd.
Installed. Just shows white screen, then 'no connection', although I just downloaded it from the network.
Easy way to see xkcd online! Very useful, especially how explainxkcd is easily accessible.
Incredibly useful! The only thing the app is missing is support for the interactive comics
Works as expected, saves them all offline, even has the ability to load explainxkcd, and the what-if scenarios
