MVG Fahrinfo München

Bis heute (bzw vor-/gestern) war alles OK, sehr zuverlässig, wenn die App sagt man muss irgendwo umsteigen (und es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten auch früher/später umzusteigen) soll man an die App hören. Seit 2 tagen jetzt aber spinnt die total. Meine Visa Karte wird nicht mehr als Zahlungsmittel angenommen, musste dann noch mitten der Reise ein anderes Zahlungsmittel zuzufügen um Anschlussticket zu kaufen. Habe dann jetzt ein Update von App gemacht und meine Visa ist noch immer nicht angenommen, obwohl meine Daten sich nicht geändert haben und die Karte noch gültig ist. Ich habe ein paar 'Probekaufen' gemacht und hoffentlich ist das Geld nicht von meine Karte abgezogen worden, so wie es manche hier im Kommentaren schreiben ... Auch den Knopf zum 'Guthaben aufladen' findr ich nicht ... Vllt bin ich blind. Und es nervt total weil die letztens immer wieder ohne grund zwischen De und En umschaltet.

Wanted to buy an airport ticket and the app bought it twice without warning. Thank you for wasting 12,80€. I go back to manually buy tickets. This app is a big fail

The stretch between Karlsplatz and Sendlingertor is undergoinf construction with no tram connection yet the app says to make a transfer there.Lost me lots of time to have to get back into the station to find another route. The data should be able to do that. Disappppinted.

Die live Informationen stimmen leider meistens nicht. Das System der Handy Tickets ist absolut unterirdisch! Die Ladezeiten beim Ticketkauf als auch beim Anzeigen des Tickets sind langsam, bei Kontrollen darf man sich dann dumme Sprüche gefallen lassen! Lieber MVV, schneidet Euch mal besser ein Scheibe von anderen Großstädten ab!

If the App shows error and you cannot complete the purchase you WILL be charged a fine even if you can show evidence. According to MVG conditions of use

The app in general fulfills my requirements except one part: the ability to buy an Anschlussticket when necessary. I already have an MVG Abo and sometimes I only need an extra ring, the option is there, but I can't choose it (Android).

It is unacceptable that they are using your location information to prevent that you pay within the train.

Can't log in any more, password reset emails never arrive, no obvious way to get support

1. I recommend not paying your tickets with it. We are just writing a reimburse complain. We payed 3 time the money for the same ticket. It delivered a failure message but the money were gone (2x). Because of the message we bought a paper ticket. 2. Payments function only if the app is switch to German language. If you have had it on English and switched to German, it will switch back unexpectedly. 3. Not a good solution if you are in a hurry. Buying a ticket (after setup is complete) takes many seconds and the application responds with failures for almost no reasons. This is annoying if you are waiting for a S-Bahn that leaves each 20 minutes.

Probleme werden nicht gefixt trotz mehrfachen Kontaktierungen und Versprechungen durch den Support (wenn er denn mal antwortet, was meist nicht der Fall ist).

I'm frequently using the app and I like it a lot. Your destination is easy to find, the app automatically suggests the correct tickets (usually hard to find out at the machine), you can also punch in addresses. There's even a map overview included to find your way from a stop to the actual place. The user interface is a bit complicated though. You can even buy stripe tickets and monthly passes. Definitely worth using!

The other older app has not so appealing UI but it gives you everything you need. The thing I miss most is not being able to show the passed stops in the journey planner. Being able to see intermediate stops is perfect for bus rides on unknown routes.

Example: "Lauensteinstrasse 9, 81549 München" will not be found. The app will not be able to suggest the nearest stop (U-bahn/S-bahn/tram etc). The Deutsche Bahn app can do that. Thus, the app's search algorithm is quite weak, especially when it is dedicated for Munich. 4) Tried again in Jan 2017: Search always returns no results. Sometimes search takes very long

The map is still not offline. Sometimes I need to check some U/S Bahn stops quickly, but it takes ages to open. It's either not offline or there is some other bug / after the map update it doesn't even load

This app shows wrong train timing informations (also in cases where there were no delays). Cannot trust this app and thus dangerous to use.

it literally takes the money from your account and does not give you the tickets. It happens often.The good thing is that customer service answers you and you can get the refund.

Bought one, expected somehow to pick the number of strips to use, can't figure out out. Would be 2 stars, but ticket descriptions earn it an extra star (much better than the useless confusing descriptions the machines offer up)

I select buy ticket. Select streifenkarte and then it ask for Standort. . I didnt know why. When i buy the streifenkarte i got 1 kurzstrecke ...so meaning istead of the 10 streifen i got 9.. it doesnt say that you need to travrl right away when you buy it. It doesn't explain how to use it either.. it took me like 30 mins to figure out how. For that reason just 1 start

Ignores delays, but is okay otherwise.

Fahrkarten und Fahrplan. Alles einfach und zugänglich. Manche Features könnte besser sein aber für Transport ganz OK.

Die app ist zwar ne gute Idee, aber schlechte realisierung. Updates: keine, oft ist mir passiert das die Linie die ich fahre gar nicht in der App steht (wenn ich überprüfen muss wann ich ankomme) die Nacht Linien exsistieren überhaupt nicht, also kann ich denn anderen mitgefahrten schon mal Zeit ersparren wenn Sie in dieser App nach Nacht Linien suchen. Traurig für München.

Easy to use, no complications and I never get lost because of it!

This app works great if you need to buy a ticket and don't have cash on you. It doesn't always show the fastest connection however. Please add the option of saving a second or third persons name and birthday when purchasing a ticket for them.

I don't understand why this app wants to send me on a wild goose chase, it's obvious I can board the s7 line on Heimeranplatz that will take me to ZOB directly, yet the app shows I can only go past it to central train station, and then board s6 and go back, literally the same way back, except different line... Really? Hasn't worked properly since ever...

No way to cancel orders, any mistaken orders are permanent. Otherwise it's alright, but this critical flaw can cost you a lot of money, so it really does not deserve more than one star, if even that.

Wenn ich eine Verbindung suche wird mir manchmal angezeigt ich soll 3 mal umsteigen, obwohl die Verbindung mit 1 mal umsteigen gerade mal eine Minute langsamer ist. Muss diese dann mühsam manuell suchen. Entweder ihr zeigt mir alle möglichen Verbindungen an oder lasst mich einstellen, ob ich dir schnellste oder praktische Verbindung haben will. Außerdem sollten Verspätungen bitte sofort angezeigt werden, nicht erst 30 Minuten später... Da hilft es auch keinem mehr

Gets the job done. That's all good I can say about it. When buying a ticket, the stop selection text box doesn't allow autocomplete and autocorrect. Also, it shows stops from all random cities. Most ridiculous, though - why can't it get the stop name from phone's location?

Randomly fails to list "current position" in the stop selection, didn't find my stop by name either. UX is even worse than DB Navigator
