The Städel app is the ideal multi-media guide for your visit to the museum. Discover the highlights of the Städel collection dating from more than 700 years in the history of art in Frankfurt, and gain suspenseful insights into the individual works, supplemented with interesting background information.

In the museum, the app’s integrated image scanner recognizes selected works in the collection. Allow yourself to be guided to the work by way of associative questions; then immerse yourself in the collection highlight with the aid of further text information as well as audio and video material.

You can also purchase the audio tours to our special exhibitions, providing in-depth information, audio clips and visual material. The additional audio guide will be available to you throughout the exhibition dates and subsequently delete from your Städel App automatically.

Advice: This App requires iOS 8.0 or newer. It is optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. With other devices some functions might be limited. It is not optimized for Tablets.
