Today Widget

Used to be simple and always workinf. On J5(2016) with Android Nougat, it stopped working in spite of several re-installs. When you move the widget onto the screen, it asks for which calendar you want to use, none appearing in the selection box. If you nevertheless tap OK, the widget crashed. Shame.

It's way too hard to find an app like this, something that should come standard with the phone -- date/day right on the home screen. Only complaint; can't change color/transparency.

Took me some time to find this widget. The others took up a lot of memory or had advertisers. Most had a clock - but I already have one in my status bar! Don't need two clocks! This widget makes sense. 5 stars.

I'm a person that's always bad with days of the week and dates. Half the time I don't even know what year were in. So this is a great app for me. I love it.

Doesn't work on S7 edge. List of calendars is blank then app closes.

Needs more customization to match peoples theme and to seperate this from the other widgets. Just the ability of transparency adjustment & colour adjust would have made this the perfect app to match my theme and other people's themes'

I never remember the date and it doesn't show on the home screen like on other phones. All I use this for is as a way to remember the date and for that it works flawlessly. Great free app.

does exactly what it says can't ask for anything more and its a shortcut to the calendar which is nice

Month is cut off so you can't read it

Lovely little widget telling me the date. lovely on my homescreen :)

I like seeing the actual date. I would rate higher if they sized it better.

This widget should require no permissions and its asking access to personal info.

Ok, it's a calendar widget. Why does it need access to caller id, photos, etc? As a coder this makes no sense. Even Minecraft needs no extra special permissions, why would this one?

I've used this for yrs on Note 2. Small simple, innocuous. Just upgraded to Note 4. Used Samsung Smart Switch. Thought this app didn't transfer over. Went to Google Play to download again on new Note 4. Showed it installed but couldn't find it anywhere on phone & didn't show up in place of Samsung's ugly Calendar widget. But only had phone for 2 hrs. Realized I couldn't find widgets for any apps that needed them. Then came across buried instructions & once learned, got simple Today widget working again :-)

On my Note 4 it showed the full month, day and date. Now on my Note 5 the screen is not full so it does not show the bottom of the app. It only shows the day and date but not the month. 1 star for now. I may Uninstall because it's not the same as before.

Really Nice...One touch takes you to the Android Calendar...Some variations options would be appreciated.

Ok. Wish it had more color options but it does the job. Also would be nice if it supported opening into more apps on tap besides the stock calendar.

It's the best day and date display widget ever and when u click on it just takes u to ur real calander that u attach to it during set up. Saves space & is informative too.

Love it. I had this widget with my Galaxy S and I'm continuing with the GS2.

Simple, clean, minimalist, but doesn't go to the current date in the calendar when I tap the widget. Instead, it goes to a date in the past.

Great app at a thousandth of the size of most status bar or widget date apps on the Play Site. Smooth hassle free info in a tiny package. 'Nuff Said
