Export to sd card doesnt work; i dont know what it does, but there are no txt files to import on my new phone. No other back up option, except share, but that is only one by one, so in my case of needing to transfer my 30 + notes, it is a complete dissapointment. However, I transferred the txt files on the sd card using the file manager of my old phone. Then, on my new phone, where I wanted to copy the notes, the application wouldnt see the files to import untill i created a new note; only after that it would "see" the txt files to import.

The last update ruined this app. It used to allow free selection upon selecting a word, and it allowed the select all option to be adjusted for less text. Both of these editing options have been removed and I have less control over the text I input. I've had this app since I had a Galaxy Victory, then to the Note 3, Note 7, Stylo 2, and now Note 8. It might be the most useful app I've ever had. No longer. I guess customer loyalty means nothing. Once I copy my info I'll be uninstalling.

Brilliant app that i would give 10 stars to if i could. Pocket. Dont Need it. Google keep. No thanks. Evernote. Nah your alright. In fact, any major note taking or reminder app is still just not as good and as simple to use as this. Apps like this is reason why android is brilliant. You shall forever remain on my phone developer. You know.... As long as it keeps working ; lol

A wonderful simple note app that I rarely use because of one deficiency: "PRINT" is missing from the Share menu. If that's the fault of my wifi print app (HP) then it's a pity the developer of THIS app hasn't worked that out. BTW I'm not having text selection problems others report. I can insert the cursor anywhere, select one word, several, or all. Maybe it's device- or keyboard-dependant?

This used to be the best note app. But no longer. I guess they haven't kept up with android updates. It will no longer select text, so you are unable to cut copy paste. They do not respond to emails for help anymore. Seems like the developer has abandoned it. Running note everything pro on Samsung G7

This app used to work great. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be supported any longer. It's been over a year without any updates. My latest android tablet doesn't work with it. Beware, don't waste your time adding notes in this app. You will just have to re-enter them later on with another app.

Before if I exceeded 750 words the app starts to slow down. Then after I reinstalled it a while ago I could write up to a 6000 words and it still works fine and now all of a sudden it slowed down again. What do I do??? Also I want to write in itlaixs or bold. I don't know if it allows that. I looked but got nothing. It would be amazing if you add it. The app is perfect and simple.

This app is annoying. I try to write or delete something and the cursor jumps to a random spot in a long list I'm creating and it needs to be fixed. Never did that before, I'm switching to another app that functions like this one should

Upsell ruins an otherwise good app. I was initially happy and satisfied with it. That is until I need to replace my phone. Apparently the only way to move my data to the new phone is to pay for the paid version. Backed up my data to SD card so I can put it into the new phone but the app on the new phone refused to recognize and import my data from SD. Shameful.

It lacks search versatilty found on the simplest palm app for free. Having over 1400 notes on my palm phone (755p) under psmemo 'The' note app for palm imho. Searching within a category is a must. Wish All android devs would ditch global search and go with refined searches :/ 2 More Stars for category search filter

It's much too difficult to move through folders and everything view isn't useful but seems to be the default. Just a simple directory is all that's needed. Can't one click to make a voice to text note. That'd be nice.

Best notepad for android. Even so, I can't select text as I was always able to do. Don't know if problem is with app or my device. I've lowered rating to four stars. If they reply to this, I might notch it back up. I'm going to lower it to one star .. Maybe that will help.

What do you think you are doing? I have had this app for the longest time and it has worked great, but now it is locking me out of adding to the content and won't allow me to use checklist and has a lock that shows up in the top left corner. I don't appreciate being locked out of my own app!

I really love this app and still using it. There's a huge problem I'm facing for a long time. MY NOTES ARE GETTING ERASED. And I am Mad.

Old version was good and all my notes were backed up on SD card and now I have To by the full version to get to them. Not interested. And it is kinda BS to take that away after so many years of using SD backup

Pro version is money well spent. Exactly what I want in a note keeping app. Simple, intuitive, solid back up, (been through several phones and all notes import/export perfectly) dark theme available, lightweight @ less than 3mb, many different note taking options, from simple to durable checklists (perfect for recurring situations i.e. grocery)

I'm a heavy app user. This is easily in my top favorite just because it is practical, flexible and I found myself using it everyday. The paid version is in fact well worth the money.

This app is good . I only use it for saving text notes . I would have given five stars but .... whenever I try to select particular text for copy - cut - paste purpose , the cursor appears far away from the desired location . I have to select and unselect all the text to reach to the text I actually wanted to select - this is ridiculous . Also when I try to select text , keyboard appears . Why would one need keyboard while selecting text ? It make select - unselect process even more complicated . I will

Great for on the spot notes. Desperately needs checklist/to do list function. Audio notes could use a lot of improvement; have to turn off screen rotation to use it, or it will keep resetting.

I really like this app to make shopping list, and the voice recorder is great when in a hurry. Don't like that all my notes disappeared when my phone had a problem, still use it everyday

What is up with the copy and paste function of this app?! I want to select a particular word or letter then copy and paste like normal. I can do that once when I FIRST open the app/a note, but after that I get this select word option that's not helpful at all! Just let me copy whatever I want...geez!

Seems the only way you can 'move' your Notes to a new phone is with the PRO version. Export to SD-Card does not work as other have said. Something that should be easy is a nightmare, don't waste your time using the App, 1 day you will surely want to move your Notes and wont be able to.

Brought paid version. Works EXCEPT for the copying and backup functions! Trying to copy a section of what I've typed is a nightmare! The function is unwieldy and for the most part, unusable. You are given this huge menu of options, but no flexibility on what you want to copy, or where you can insert somethng - such as a telephone #. Or even copy the contact's # so you can share it. It keeps taking you to the very end, and you can't change it - the only option is to "select all" or insert at the end. The only real advantage it has over the built-in messaging app is that you can assign distinctive ring tones for your contacts, which is a must-have feature for me - but if you switch phones, you're out of luck because it's backup feature has never in three years worked properly, so you have to keep redoing your preferences for each contact over and over. Not sure if paying for the "pro" version was worth it.

Don't this of this as a negative review. I was typing a long note (very very very very important stuff) and the app just crashed. Now it works fine...any bug but crashing...thanks.

Great app but no save option. It auto saves, but if you make a mistake bad luck. Your info is gone. Password feature is great option.

Can't import from SD card :( I had export my noted to SD card hence I changed my mobile But now when I try to import to my new mbl those notes can not be imported though the option shows !!! Highly disappointed

I brought a new phone, wanted to transfer all information saved on note everything from my old phone to new and it does allow you to do that. I am sure you developer's understand that people change their mobile phones, and that people might want to transfer their saved information to new devices so why haven't you taken that into account?

This app used to be great. However the new update doesn't let you export to an SD card. I don't want that done automatically, I am glad to do it manually.

I absolutely admire the UI, handling, features and everything about this particular application. But what stopped me from giving that one last star was how it saves old notes on the day we modify it. I would suggest to let it show the date it was actually made on because sometimes we want a particular day to be remembered. Other than that, there is no margin of complaining.

I have used this for a while. Paid for the pro version and back up. I have had a problem with the way the program handles erasing in the past. I just spent hours on a company project making notes. This has been an ongoing project, so I was going back reviewing and updating. When I attempted to remove a line it ereased two. Being important information I needed, I tried to revert the note. So now I have lost ALL of the last 3 hours of work. Please keep this in mind before buying this program.

Been using years. Does all it says it does, all I want, and is dependable (but- read further). Still appreciate the app, EXCEPT BE AWARE that copying files from 'Phone' and 'SD card' does not copy the database containing your notes, so you MUST do backups through the app which are saved and are accessible to copy + transfer. I still like the app, but lost irreplacable files due to not being aware of backup inadequacies. Be sure to read FAQ about backups. Programmer should have warning alert when first use.

The updates to keep it working on new Android OSes are welcome. Well thought out app, and I like the custom text coloring (I have mine set to amber text on black). That said, I wish it had user-controllable arbitrary rearranging of notes. (Edit: ordering by "last edited" works well.)

I can't use any other app to take notes instead of this. It's easy and simple. I've used 3 phones since 2013, and this app always stays for me. There are more apps that looks high tech *ahem* with multiple options like folding, merging etc. But this app does best for me.

Back with my S3, this app worked great. But now with my S6, you can no longer Select text to copy. It is only a problem with this particular app. When I first open a note, I can select text ONCE. After that I no longer get two handles. This is really frustrating, as I use the app a lot. Update: if you tap in title text; then long-press the word you want to select, it works.

Very good importing from other apps such as Palm but it lacks of export functions to other apps. Also it works fine in android runtime for BB10 OS BUT as the PRO addon doesn't work it will not be able to create backups to move the data to other devices. A more visual classification using icons and an arrow to go back in the left corner also would be welcome

This Update broke the text selection process again. Still, very useful and gets the job done but minus 1 star for breaking text selection.

They both work great on multiple devices with awesome backups... Can't say enough, An prolific multi-useabilty...

This' the note application that I need, simple but perfectly replace paper notes. Some minor adjustments that can be done are: 1. Add dedicated "Exit" button and "Back" button (different with "Undo"); 2. More tools for paint note that at least resemble old Windows XP's Paint. Nonetheless, it's a great application, thank you.
