Not quite what I need, but it is nice. Needs option to sort by value, with negatives having greater value than 0. Needs option to copy and paste lists into other apps (into clipboard). Needs option to make groups of counters. I use counter apps to count out material needed for construction. It would be great if there was an app that had this app and Counter +1 app features combined

by M####:

Just what I need for right now. Love that there are no ads. In the future I could see where I would need this for counting groups of items. It would be great if you could create a group and then a list of things to become counted in each group. I love that you can designate a color for each item and also choose an amount by which to increase (so you can count by 2's, for example, instead of counting by 1's and having to click a bunch of times). Overall great app and easy to use.

Nice app to help me as a field superintendent to count the number of different tradesmen for accounting purposes. Could use an extra feature to layer or group different counters. Right now I just sort them next to each other and by similar colors. Just as an example, I have 3 carpenters companies, 2 low voltage electrician companies, 1 high voltage electricians, 2 plumbing companies, etc.

Does exactly what I need and has extra features to make it fun and easy to use. Recommended if you need to keep track of something. My only complaint would be that you can't time yourself properly, the clock keeps running even when the counter is closed. That would make it simpler to track how many actions /hr.

P70%
by P####:

Simple and easy to use. It counts things, as advertised. One suggestion: I would like to be able to see the individual instances of counted items in a graph under the Statistics, instead of just the last instance recorded. For example, if I was counting people who walked by, it would be nice to see that X amount of people walked by between 8 and 10 am, and Y amount walked by around noon.

This app is just what I needed. After a brain injury I could not keep track of rows & stitch counts. I looked at knitting specific apps but they were too complicated. This is concise user friendly & is a great find for me! I can keep multiple counters going if I am working on more than one project at a time! Thank you so much!

Great app. Does exactly what it claims to. Looks good, easy to use, completely free and no ads. Even more, you can enable voice count! Thank you very much, dev. You made my day. I just counted how many times a little kid says "bro" while playing Minecraft (one in every 11 seconds, if you're wondering). Amazing app!!!

Hi, great app! I need it for work and would be grateful if you could add an option for counting time. When you start counting a thing that it autmaticaly counts how long you are counting/doing it. There is no app for that, that i could find. There is one but apparently its not good. Its either a counter or timer but not both. Anyway would be grateful for the option. Thanks and keep up the good work :)

I think it's really great. I love the interface. I think it would be cool if you could resize the counters or make them bigger or smaller depending on your preference. I gave this 4 starts because the widget doesn't work on my phone. Although I'm sure it might on another phone. (I have a Galaxy S4) all together I really enjoy this app. Serves its purpose. Great job!

No ads, yay! I am using it as a habit tracker, giving myself points when I do the thing I am trying to develop as a habit. I love the simplicity and the ability to customize. Other habit trackers want to send me emails and push notifications, etc. Too complicated for my taste. This app is precisely what I wanted.

You really want to pay for it instead. This app is perfect and does everything i want it to with no ads or permissions. Only feature i can think to make it better is to turn off the live timer, since i use this to track shows. I don't need the feature, but categories would help as well. Also, material style interface.

Okay the widget works, but took a while to show up in the list of widgets. This counter app lets you label and color code your counters. You should be able to choose different sizes for the widget, which could also include the minus count, or a rename button, for the bigger sizes.

I am trying to find some type of flaw, so I will update this review if I do. First impression: It's everything I was looking for. The color widget option works best for me, and I can't stop thinking of new ideas to use this beautifully-minimalistic, well-organized & easy-to-use tool.

I wanted to keep track of more things this year, and since IFTTT killed the DO button, needed another app. I only wish it would keep tally of date and time pressed, maybe in an exportable spreadsheet, but it's not the end of the world

I REALLY like this app a lot. We need something just like this at work BUT we have to be able to share it. It's useless to us without that feature. REALLY appreciate your effort to keep it ad-free & all your work & your feedback. I hope you go far

Works perfect and no annoying ads! Wow, really? One thing is my phone sometimes double clicks but I'm sure that's my phone not the app. If you could use volume keys for counting would be great. Still worth 5 stars ☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️

Simple, effective, clean design. *Love* the widgets. Suggested Widget Tweaks: (1) option to make them smaller; (2) subtract on the widget if I make a mistake, without having to open the app (via long press or double tap maybe?); (3) customize transparency levels. App Suggestion: I would pay a small amount for an enhanced version that keeps track of basic trends over time, like the totals per day or week or month of each counter.

P70%
by P####:

Not only I can keep track of how many hours I worked on my projects, how many books/articles Ive read. It also motivates me to do more. I wish there were time report to compare months.

Helps me keep track of my burpee sets. I do 5 sets of 20 reps each, for a total of 100 burpees a day. This counter helps me keep track. One problem is that I accidentally created two counters, and there is no way to delete that counter, that I can find. Would appreciate feedback.

M70%
by M####:

This is just perfect. If it had options to change colours (font, background, counter colour etc) rather than a fixed colour palette, that will be even better. Without that too it is wonderful. Thank you for such a nice app.

This is the ultimate counter. It is good for chanting prayers for specified times. I can't fault this app but i did wish it had a notification when a certain desired amount was reached, so that you could keep praying with your eyes closed without constantly glancing at your screen to gauge when you should stop. But the good that this app has, overshadows this shortcoming. Good work!

G70%

Seems reliable to run, but not reliable to use. Tiny battery impact and nice widget. Screen layout is good, but several problems with feature design make it unusable for me. One example: it's too easy to accidentally increase number, confused how to decrement. Good start. Needs significant work.

Several years ago I wanted to keep track of the number of bowel movements I had in a year. Thing Counter not only allowed me to do that, but also allowed me to appropriately name it "Dumps". I have now monitored my poops for three years and I finished this year yesterday when I recorded my 394th dump. Being able to manage my health in this manner inspired me to set a new year's resolution of eating more fiber so I can drop a record 450 turds in 2017. Thank you Thing Counter!

Does exactly what it aims to do with easy history. Great for keeping track of things. I am a little bit disappointed that it got made though because it was supposed to be my summer IT project but I ended up not having enough time due to an internship :/ Anyway, great app! Can recommend without reservations!

Does exactly what I wanted! Something that easily tracks multiple events. Maybe you could make an option in the settings so every tap goes up by an entered value like 5, then when you click into the event you can go up and down by one for certain things. I use it to count my reps for various excersise throughout the day and it's great! Thank you :)

Great app. Counts stuff simply. I use it to keep track of the number of times per day I indulge in one of my many bad habits. I'd like to see graphs over time rather than have to make my own but that's just my use case, probably it would add unnecessary complexity and screw up somebody else's use case. Thanks developer!

It's a simple, straightforward, and easy to use app. It counts things for you. Right now I have it keeping track of my braxton hicks contractions for the doctors. All I have to do is open the app and click the plus button. Perfect for what I need it to do.

Perfect app to quickly hold count of random things. The history is of great help since my retard fingers might reset the timers when my brain isn't there to stop them. The fifth star is left blank because an app this great could use android wear support.

I especially like how this app does what you want it to but doesn't require any permissions. The app is simple and intuitive. The only thing I want that it doesn't seem to have is the ability to export my counters so that I could send them to someone.

thank you for your work, the resulting app is really awesome! it has all the functionality expected and really great design.

Great app. My only wish would be an option for a smaller widget (1x1) even if it means losing the open and reset buttons. Thanks!

P70%

You can improve that by add an option that allow anyone to define his unit .. Ex. : I study 2 pomodoros so I define the unit as 25 minutes

N70%

Does exactly what it says on the tin, plus some statistics on the side, with a simple but stylish UI that fits in with almost any custom phone theming. Widget does need some work though, namely the ability to count down.

I use this for budgeting, and it works better than anything I've ever used. Simple and pretty-looking and intuitive and helpful with advanced settings. I look at it every day and spend less money!

By far best functional and looking (which is a big thing for me) counter app on the market. Simple to use and easy to understand, widget function works smoothly. 100% happy with this app.

S70%
by S####:

This app is simple and pretty and has a useful widget. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that you can only create a NEW counter when creating a widget. It would be great to be able to just create a widget out of an existing counter so you don't lose your place when doing some rearranging of home screens.

S70%
by S####:

Pretty good app, does exactly what I want it to do but the widget leaves a little to be desired. If you are just counting one or two things it is okay, but I'd like to see the widget support all your counters so could just scroll through them.

S70%
by S####:

This app is simple, functional, and looks good. As simple as it is, I've had trouble finding counter apps that work properly, let alone any that have a material design-based look. More colors for counters might be nice, but all in all this app is exactly what I needed to keep track of various things.
