Schönbuchführer

Der Naturpark Schönbuch hat ein neues Angebot für Besucher entwickelt: die Schönbuch-App.

In Zusammenarbeit mit der Leonberger Firma Softwareentwicklung Silbe und den unteren Forstbehörden der Landkreise Böblingen und Tübingen entstand eine Anwendung, die künftig Besucher durch den Wald zu Highlights des Naturparks begleitet und dabei interessante Informationen direkt auf das Smartphone liefert. Da der Mobilfunk-Empfang an vielen Orten im Schönbuch erschwert ist, werden die Daten schon vor der Wanderung auf dem Handy installiert, um dann jederzeit zur Verfügung zu stehen.

An den Highlights ausgewählter Touren im Wald wurden kleine Metalltäfelchen mit QR-Codes angebracht. Wurde die App installiert, liefert das Smartphone nach dem Einlesen der QR-Codes Informationen zu den Natur- und Kleindenkmälern, die der Nutzer sich dann direkt vor Ort bequem zu Gemüte führen kann.

Darüber hinaus hilft die App auch bei der Orientierung im Naturpark: Über die GPS-Funktion des Handys kann unterwegs der eigene Standort angezeigt werden.

Der Inhalt der App soll in Zukunft kontinuierlich erweitert werden. Bisher wurden zwei Touren eingerichtet. Die „Entdecker-Tour“ streift beispielsweise den romantischen Olgahain und umfasst zahlreiche geschichtlich bedeutsame Plätze wie das Soldatengrab und die Königliche Jagdhütte. Daneben gibt es die „Betzenberg-Runde“, auf der Sie Waldgeistern und Steinen begegnen und Lebewesen kennen lernen, für die totes Holz Lebenselixier ist.

In Zukunft sollen weitere Angebote auch in anderen Ecken des Schönbuchs folgen. Denkbar sind auch thematische Spaziergänge zu Themen wie beispielsweise „Wildgehege“,„Grillplätze“ oder „Kleindenkmale“. The Schönbuch Nature Park has developed a new program for visitors: the Schönbuch App.
