BikeComputer Pro for Android
Everything I need in a bike computer.
Best of any HRM app. (I thought it was this app's fault for its reception from my Wahoo cadence counter failing during use. This only started about a month ago. It has nothing to do with this app. It is another app reception problem.)
Is evolving and improving all the time. As a bike route planner it's excellent. Can be used on the go - so you can always route a longer journey on a sunny day!!
Still the best app for cycling
It's good
Great. On unknown areas o cities with a few touches here is your route.
Very well made app
I really like Bike Computer Pro. I have been using it to map my rides for months now. I like to compare my rides to other maps like Google Maps. I very much like the "bread crumbs" trail that this produces. However, I have been unable to post the map photo this App produces to Google Maps.
Brilliant app. Because it covers so many bases for the cyclist it can take a while to learn how to use its full potential, but worth the time as it's never let me down. Great to be able to set up routes or sessions on a larger device then import/sync to the device I use on the bike. Happily imports GPX files created with online maps on the computer. All my cycling buddies wondering where I'm getting these great routes now!
This developer is best developer around really stays on top of the game . Thank you!!!. Great app, has so many features. Wish it had SUPPORT for wahoo RFLKT PLUS, but wahoo has discontinued the item. I use it as a sensor of pressure location as well as external monitor for turn by turn instruction. Would love to be able to use it with this app and not others.
This app has everything a bicycle commuter with an eye on health could want. Facebook/Twitter integration allows you to share your rides with your friends, combined with the Strava upload capability adds good fitness tracking abilities & analytics. On top of that add in support for a wide range of Bluetooth & ANT+(on capable devices) Speed/Cadence/Heart rate monitors ensures the app gets the best and most accurate data. Oh did I mention fully customizable session screen. Yeah its that just damn good.
Very unfriendly. Also I can't use it as it doesn't allow me to download maps. It fails for no reason every time :(
It's very simple and straightforward and easy to use. There are lots more features than I use and they're probably just as good.
Well designed app, still finding new features to use.
Cant import the exported .gpx into Garmin BaseCamp or Garmin MapSource.
Easy to use good maps
Really good app for gps cycling computer. Just download routes from ridewithgps app on PC then email to yourself on phone. Thanks well worth the few quid. Brought cheap spare Moto G 1st gen waterproof smartphone stick quadlock universal on back and you have relatively cheap cycle computer and the phones always available if you need it. PAYG sim with Three network with £5 credit but use offline maps. Credit lasts indefinitely. Can't recommend this app enough. Developer always replies to queries. Cheers
Nice to know people are enjoying the app. I still can't get started as I am not understanding the app and how it works. It would have helped to have the English info about the app on the English version of the app and no the German. I can't introduce coordinates that start with a minus sign. I'll still try and give it a go and review my rating. At the moment the only experience I have is one of frustration.
This app let me ride just with my phone, headset, and heart rate monitor! I control everything with my phone in a bar mount. I love it!
Bought the Pro version to support the developer of the fine free version - then found that it had some really useful features. I use it on every ride.
Great app. Provides so much info. Easy to navigate with a little practice.
Like it,works good easy to use great for looking back on all your rides
Best I have found
Good Work..
I have used GPS based cycling computers and other cycling apps, yet none compare to the integration, easy of use, and versatility of this app. A standalone GPS unit can cost you hundreds and not cone near the features of this app. By using your phone it saves you money & the data/battery drain is negligible. I am not employed by this developer or paid for an endorsement. I cycle 60km a day during the winter months and 100km during summer. I have only penned this review after 1000km of riding with this app.
Update: increase to 5 star. The addition of seperate Bluetooth device monitoring and different bike setup is an excellent feature. This app is very useful. Good feature set small installation size. And of course no adds or spy wear. Keep up the good work
Gives me all the data I need except heart rate. I bought a Gear S2 but it doesn't seem to be compatible or I'd have given 5 stars.
How do I get the app to stay on and open all the way through my ride
I know that when looking back at rides we can take the speed away to show alritude is there anyway we can have it so u can choose what is removed speed or altitude would be so useful such a good app i love it but this would make it even better!!!
Great for turn-by-turn spoken directions - I use this with my local bike club maps to keep from getting lost (:. Good, customizable display.
Definetely the Cadillac of cycling apps. Well laid out and works with OSM (Open Street MAPS for offline use).
Easy to use . Well laid out . Clear . May have to buy more sensors .
Great.
You will never need another cycling app. This is stunning. Live tracking on offline maps while following a user created or gpx imported route overlay makes it perfect for exploring new routes without fear of getting lost. Uploads to Strava, compatible with many external sensors, even temp! It does everything my garmin does & more, should be ten times the asking price really. So much thought & effort has gone into this app- it is just superb. Highly helpfull creator too. Can't recommend it highly enough.
I find this app very useful when cycling around my city. The only problem I have with it is that it's UI not particularly noob-friendly. I am not a pro cyclist by any sense of the word, so i get easily intimidated with the flood of options slapped into a single page. Online maps loads slightly slow which can be annoyance when I review my sessions. Once I get past all that, this app does what it sets out to do and it provides me with useful information during and after a cycling session.
It's 5
I'm using this app to overcome Strava's inability to show real time riding speed and cadence. Like it. I will give it 5 star if it provides a bigger display of those measurements (speed, cadence, elevation, etc.). The map is barely needed after riding a route twice, imho.
Bought this mainly to get audio directions on routes. App very easy to use and I set off on my first ride. Unfortunately the audio directions only inform me of some turns. I have planned a few routes many starting from my home. All have a right turn about 150ft from start. The map displays this on some routes but others it displays first turn 1.4miles away which is about the 20th turn. This is when I had the first audio. Any help would be appreciated as the app is just what I need if audio working correctly
Bike Computer Pro has been my biking partner ever since. And keeps better and better on every upgrade.
