YourWay

The app provides a cockpit display of different measured values:

- Speed over ground (scalable in the options)
- Direction with respect to the geographic North Pole
- Climb and descent rate (Height gain or loss)
- Position in a map (hide in the options)

The app is designed for the orientation of flight goers, joggers, cyclists, amateur pilots (paragliding, hang, glider, etc.), balloonists, etc.

Requirements for full functionality:
- Geolocation (best GPS)
- Existing compass sensor
- Accelerometer
- Online connection (for map)

The app works explicitly with Web technologies and also serves as a technology to test certain features. Specifically with PhoneGap, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery Mobile and the Bing Maps API. The interaction is a little bit diffizil and does not work on all phones. On my test devices, there are no problems, but there are some reports of display problems (please note - it is still a beta version). I am grateful for any feedback on whitch device are errors .

The app is bilingual and you can switch between English and German.
