GeOrg - Geocaching Organizer for Android
The UI is generally good, although some features take a bit of digging to uncover.. Although the filter/sort capabilities are OK, it needs a bit more work in this area to be competitive with the iPod touch app I used previously. To be fair, GeOrg is the best Android app at filtering and sorting at the moment but I still wish I could filter out the caches I own from the Not Found list. It's one of the most-used apps on my Android phone. Now that it's been updated, I'll start recommending it to my friends again.
My first choice for waypoint and offline caching.
Worthless app. No instructions, and doesn't do anything. Waste of money!!!
Google nav was the only thing this app lacked. It's perfect now!
Good but one annoyance. Constant FC is window loses focus whilst importing PQs/gpx. Please fix.
Having a problem seeing caches, you will have to down load them from the web first and then load them onto your phone. Do not pay for this.
Geocachers + Droid = Must Have!
Great app, great developer. I reported a bug and it was fixed the next morning!
My favourite App, extremely useful, loads of features but still easy to use. Just got a lot better with field notes. (Tattoo)
Excellent app and developer, open to suggestions. Fastest GPX parser, bcaching connector, great features. Worth every penny. Never seen a FC.
Exactly what I was looking for!
This app is crap
Excellent app! Lets u import cached USGS maps and to import all of the gpx file for offline backcountry navigation. Could use better linking with web
Always took us to the wrong place
Justin, you are wrong. Do not listen to him. This is a great app when you learn to use it. The best on the market!
Great app. Would be good to be able to enlarge all text and change to black on white. (HTC Tattoo)
A lot of features, excellent support and open to suggestions.
Love this app. Well worth the money. Keep up the good work!
would be super rad if you could download gpx files on your phone. Also would like to see a multi file import. Can you list what the updates are here?
I wish I could nav nearby caches without opening browser.Hero.
Badly needs updating to fix problems with Google Maps. It gets points for allowing multiple/large data sets. Also for having a very easy-to-use field notes implementation. The UI is generally good, although some features take a bit of digging to uncover.. Although the filter/sort capabilities are OK, it needs more work in this area to be competitive with the iPod touch app I used previously. To be fair, GeOrg is the best Android app at filtering and sorting at the moment. The interface with Google maps is broken in this version of the app (1.1.9.7) , Maps rejects the data sent to it because GeOrg sends the cache name in the info, and Maps only want the coordinates. I emailed the developer about this (months ago!!) and got no reply and the problem hasn't been fixed. Points deducted for developer. GeOrg is the one of the most-used apps on my Android phone, although if I need to do any sophisticated filtering or sorting, still I have to use my iPod touch. Edit: It appears the developer is no longer supporting this product, as both my emails of the last six months have gone unanswered. Rating down to 2 stars from 4.
Purchased, then spent 40 minutes trying to import data--without success. Might be great once the database is ready, but this is the least user-friendly software I have ever tried to use.
Just installed and used last weekend. It meets all my needs as a previous palm user for paperless cahing. Thanks escellent app
An excellent caching program. Works very well and makes paperless caching with my HTC Aria easy. The interface isn't quite as intuitive as I'd like.
I only use this app now, it works great and has very easy to use interface
You so kindly sent me a demo version ages ago via email. I have tested it extensively and now have the honour of owning the legit premium version!
A great app, if not the best I've geocaching app I've used so far. Love the compass and how it uses the GPS heading when moving in my car, works so much better than other apps! Money well spent.
Only 15 mins for a refund. It does not show a great deal of confidence on the developers part for this rubbish
Great application used recently for review in my "Geocaching in Australia" magazine. Found many useful features. Excellent. Thanks.
Great app with offline maps support.
Waste of money
Not compatible with all gpx files and very slow to open. Database organisation not logical.
Great app. Took a while to get it working (I had reinstall it before it would work). User guide is available on web, and they answer emails quickly.
Can operate fully offline, including caches, maps and spoilers, after reading the manual. Full online functionality. Navigation has some great featurs
Best GC app, offline OSMaps possible, multiple cache databases, good UI! Much better than orgiginal GC app.
For the money would hand expected better.a pain to load cache, c:geo is much better and free
Beste Geocaching App
The best geocaching app! Once you figure it out, you'll love it. Loading GPX files makes it much faster than other apps.
I've tried all of the popular geocaching apps. For online caching...BY FAR the best.

I use this tool in combination with GSAK for offline geocaching. I have been using it for about 6 months. Overall I would rate this application highly, but I think the user interface could be improved. It took me ages to discover how to export logs to email - some things aren't very intuitive. Also, the compass doesn't seem to work for me. It tells me the direction of the cache with respect to North, but this doesn't help me unless I am told *my* direction with respect to North. The same happens in the map view - the little indicator tells me my position, but it doesn't tell me my direction. Overall a useful application for people who like to manage their geocache database using an external tool like GSAK.
