Wake On LAN for Android
Almost perfect! But why not accept the hostname? I use this app to switch on PC at home via internet ( using dynamic IP and port forwarding), the only inconvenience us I have to manually retrieve and update IP before I can use it from remote...
App is clean and easy to use. It has a function to schedule sending a packet but I haven't gotten it to work. If that gets fixed, 5 stars.
No permissions except WiFi needed is the best part
Tried many wol apps.. non seems to work but this on.
The only thing that wakes my desktop through my switch.
Can start any PC in my house without leaving my bed. It would be nice to have a turn off button
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Wakes my computer from sleep, from anywhere. Just config your router with proper portforwarding och use a vpn, and you are set up.
It can't even do the only task it was made for...
It works on local network only. i recommend wake on lan from mafro it woke my computer over the internet using mobile data! :)
Tried many wol apps.. non seems to work but this on.
I use this to wake up my computer for watching TV on WMC. Very convenient and simple. Thanks for developing!
Worked perfectly first try. Entered in the target machine's ip address, and it automatically filled in the mac address too. Pressed Try It and it worked instantly!
Does what it should do, but it's not the best in the field
UK LONDON BRITISH ROBERT ORDENERRY ETHIOPIA PERSON PHONE SIMI CARD BANK SECRET. CODE SOLD JAPAN GOVER BEN $37BILLON US DOLLAR AVERAGE ETHIOPIA PERSON BEHIND SEX GIFTS FOR JUNGLE ANIMALS AFRICA PEOPLE'S HOLLYWOOD RESOURCES AT RESTROOM BONE STOCKER FITTING EACH OTHER ROBERT MOVIES.
It's simple and just does its job...However the schedule-function does not work at all.
Search for host doesn't work!
Doesn't work with Windows 10
I am using this over LAN to start my HTPC.
Works great, both on local lan and across the web. Love the widgets too.
things are easy now. if wifi is on, i can turn on my PC and NAS. nice!!!
Simple and clean app. Keep the good work.
Wakes up every device I own as soon as I restart my phone.
If you're not on the same subnet (or indeed have no net connection at all) then the app shouldn't attempt to send a WOL packet to the remote machine e.g. grey out the machine line or display a message that a WOL can't be sent to that machine if it's pressed on. Also, if a WOL packet is sent, the message " started" is shown. This isn't necesssarily true, even if you are on the same subnet. For example, the remote machine may be completely unplugged from the mains, disconnected from the network, not configured to accept WOL packets or there could be a simple typo of the MAC/IP in the app settings. The message should say "WOL sent to " instead.
Love this, I can turn on my computer from any where in the world as long I have the intrernet. Then I can remote desktop it. They two make a perfect pair. I love how the Mac address is automatically filled out when you type in the ip address. Widget is also really helpful. Really nice app.
I stopped my searching of similar software exactly on this app. It is useful, not flawless but useful and looks and works great. If you could please add such functionality that user could able to add Wake on LAN and Wake over WAN on a same item. Now I must have two item on my host list, one for LAN, second for the WAN. Thanks.
App works like a charm even found my MAC address by just typing in the IP and it turns on all my PCs including the Dell ones running Ubuntu which other wake-on-lan apps did not do
Works as intended... If you are on a DHCP network where your target's IP may change, set it to the broadcast IP, which ends in 255; for example, if your target's IP is currently 192.168.0.101 --- set your target ip to 192.168.0.255. This will insure that your WOL packet is broadcast across the whole 192.168.0.x network.
Tried other apps like the one from Brobble and thought I had a hardware or config issue on the PC in question. Nope, tried this app and BINGO! worked right away.
Does what it says on the tin. Small, simple and works every time.
Makes me feel magical, boom your all on at my command!!!. Top banana! Wizard!
Great app ! Simple to use and does what is says it does. I only have one issue with the app, the scheduler...unable to edit existing scheduler profiles, also the scheduler itself does not seem to work.| Anyone experienced the same issue perhaps ?
it works like a charm and it's free! thanks
Working perfectly on lan. Wonder if it might work over the internet.
I tried to configured wake on wan, it work perfectly fine until a few days later, it didnt turn on anymore (work for lan every time , no failure ). Tried internet wake request, and it works(at the same time, this app not working) (Updated) That was my fault and it works properly now even with public ip any time any where
I just use etjernet cable
Simple, small, does the job, what more do you need
No permissions except WiFi needed is the best part
Doesn't work
Works straight out the box with an easy config. Much simpler than some of the alternatives available.
